Thanks, its hard sometimes to explain the cars without getting too nerdy with detail (our videos would all be hours long) or just pointing out neat features. So trying to do my best to do a mix of both.

I like those older Porsches from the 70s and into the 80s. With the older ones you still feel like you are driving the car where with the modern ones with the over abundance of computers and electronics it's more like they are driving you.

Fantastic video! This is a beautiful Porsche and you always go over the cars in such fantastic detail. I love the Gulf livery, but this car just stole my heart. :)
Cheers everybody! This is a real beauty! I like this contrasting blue/orange very much! Nice job! I’ve a question on the tires/rims though: what exact rim and tire sizes do we have here? I’m VERY deep into restorations myself, with having some 5 restorations completed by myself. And I’m just about to start a new one. Which is probably a RSR-tribute like this one here, or a ST-tribute, which is, well, „less aggressive“ than a RSR. Anyways, would be very interested in getting to know exact tire and rim sizes. A thousand thanks upfront! Cool stuff!!
Really intersing point: the Singers are based on a 964 chasis and from your comments you are saying that with all of the modern and top quality suspension components that Singer fits to their cars, you get basically a modern feel. Where as this car retains the torsion bar suspension, i'm assuming, so it will of course retain the vintage feel to the chasis. Something to consider for those that are cross shopping.
The fuel tank was in front and the oil tank was in the right rear fender throughout the air cooled 911 production run from 1963 through 1998. One year only (1972) Porsche put the oil filler cap on the bodywork outside but too many people were putting gas in the oil tank so they moved it all back in the engine bay where it was before and where it remained until the end. Nothing to do with DOT, the fuel tank never moved. The fuel tank in the 911 is still in front even to this day. There is no oil tank anymore of course, the engines are no longer "dry sump" but "integrated dry sump". The shell used for this build was either a 1972, or it was modified to put the oil filler outside because that may be how they did it for the RSR, or because they thought it would be cool - which it is.
I always like your videos. Fix the alignment of the vent by the driver's side turn signal - it's crooked. First thing I noticed, not a great first impression when the owner is charging close to Singer money.
Such a cool car, the rear end is a beast, Singers are £700000 ( sorry British 🇬🇧) how much are these if not a rude question? Another great video, and your looking super cool! 👍
Stunning and the 911's are awesome too. Any girl who can talk about the history of the car, and knowing an RSR or the difference between Gunderson and Singer is Awesome. Though, a girls who can drive a proper 5 Speed Manual Transmission is Sexy. The Gulf Livery takes me back to the LeMans of Steve McQueen 917 K Porsche and his movie 🎥 thanks for sharing an epic presentation of an awesome car. In and in 1968 Steve McQueen scared Bruce Lee out of buying one in 1968. Hardly anyone knew this friendship, Bruce Lee taught self defense, to elite celebrities and Steve was one of his friends as well as clients. Bruce wanted a Porsche like Steve McQueen, though, Steve warned him about driving dynamics. Gave him a ride in Mulholland Drive, and Bruce Lee went down to the floor crotched and screaming stop or I'll kill you, and then Steve McQueen drove aggressive, yeah can kill me Steve McQueen thought. So harder and faster he drove so your going to kill me he thought well I rather drive fast and going over the cliff driving fast and if we both die I would die with a smile. Bruce Lee said no ok I won't hurt you just stop the car I'll walk home. Steve McQueen responded you won't hurt me, then I'll take you home. Gulf Porsche is awesome the Midnight Blue is quite lovely 🙋👍🏁🏎 thank you
A very healthy looking lady and an awesome car. The problem with the car, besides being a museum piece, is that you can't easily have this as your weekend car. It's too expensive, hard to insure and fussy. Why don't you guys do a Porsche survivor project. Take an 80's 911, do a mild refurb and go with that. Which is much more realistic for the vast majority of your viewers.
What does she mean by "I have invoices showing $118,000 was spent on just the engine alone, not all the money went into the engine, it went into the whole build but just as an example of the quality of the work, that money was just spent making sure the engine was just right" Could have said "build cost was $118,000 of which a sizeable part went on the engine build".
Nice Video, the color combi is not my piece of cake.180000 USD only for the engine is sick and unnecessary , because a good Metzger Turbo would do it better , for a fraction of the price. Also when is it you English speaking guys say : Porsche and not Porsch , nobody says Ferrar it is a Ferrari .
It’s nice to see a fashionable current woman in a male dominated subject, but I was little let down by mispronouncing porsch”e” and fuchs. But nice save on Le Mans. Maybe I’m just a picky old man with out a life

What Blue is that? A shop in LA is busy stuffing a 38 into my ‘71T. I can’t wait. 😎
What color is the car? Ossi blue?
Is that interior not considered saddle? Why does she refer to it as orange?
Let’s not go crazy and compare this regular sports car to a Countach, that is a exotic. Also Corvettes sell in much higher numbers than 911s.
The hood is made of POLYESTER, for some 1974 models.

$118K just for the engine 😂.
