    Dear John,
Today I felt incredibly alone in my Chronic Depression, Chronic Pain and plethora of debilitating illnesses. Then I watched one of your videos and I no longer felt as alone.
I can relate to your story in some ways. After years of abuse, my mother left my CEO father. She struggled to make ends meet and I would often fall asleep listening to her cry in her bedroom next door.
I was soon to be diagnosed with a life threatening bowel disease and was told that a fancy private surgeon was my best chance. He almost killed me from neglecting to see that I was dying of severe post operative complications that resulted in Sepsis and then 4 further surgeries in 3 weeks. I have since had over 30 operations that have cost my parents money they couldn't afford. I am a rape survivor and have had 36 ECT sessions for Depression and suicidal thoughts, even planning.
Despite the way my dad had treated my mum at times, he was always good to me. He was my best friend, confidante and guide. Unfortunately, he had a stroke at my 30th birthday party and died 2 weeks later.
I have battled Opioid Dependence for treatment of my physical, mental and emotional pain.
Sometimes I dread the sunrise. But after finally finding a good team of counselors and specialists for my illnesses, I am getting stronger. I am being brought off opioids which will be better for me in the long run but right now, hurts like Hell.
Alas, I have clung to the hope of a better time to come. Each day has become an opportunity to heal, inside and out.
Thank you for "daring greatly" (Roosevelt and Dr Brenee Brown) and putting yourself out there so that others who are hurting or traumatized by past experiences or their current situations can see that they are NOT ALONE. Please keep up the great fight. I can only imagine that you going to change, even transform lives for the better. May your own god bless you.
    Many thanks,
    Madeleine.

Hi, I'm a therapist in the UK. Your message is highly valuable and brave and a lifeline to everyone who needs it. Aside from your 'why' your film quality and editing is superb, your creativity is superb and your content is superb.
I for one really want you to understand how meaningful your time, effort and attention to detail is - and on a subject which is massively under publicised.
I work with people who suffer from all the of disorders you have mentioned - though I hate labels. People only believe in the paradigms relating to these disorders and so thank you for showing a realistic side of the people who live day to day with their challenges.
Never stop your message - it will pay off - I promise.
There is no such thing as a lucky person - only skill plus effort plus ensuring you are in the right place to be available for opportunities. This channel will bring great things to you and the people who need the life line you are creating for them.
Whenever you read this - I hope it feels like a big hug because that is my intension.
    Jille

I love all that you have posted! It's real, from the heart - things I value in life. Having family members who have and do suffer with depression, at varying levels, the more I learn, TRY to understand, it all helps. I can't fix it, wish that I could! but it's a long journey, hour at a time, week at a time. Find your passion in life, take the time to find the real you. The more people that are open and honest about Depression/Mental illlness the more lives are helped.

It’s probably the stigma, they don’t want to be called crazy, they don’t want to be tagged it, but depression is very dangerous, the person can commit suicide if is not treated

I remember telling my dad that I think I needed help. I regret it. He said snap out of it and all my friends say that it’s stupid. I dont like eating and I hate going out of bed it’s painfully fuck. I isolate my self which is shit. I spiralled once and I’m still recovering but your videos help me so much😀 thanks
