Yes, there's a trade off when comparing between the Alox series and Cellidor SAK's. Alox are built more robustly and are less likely to fail under hard use, where the Cellidor SAK's have additional tools. You have to decide what's more important to your daily EDC needs. Great Review Dave. I have the Pioneer X Alox and the Hunter already. I wasn't sure if it was worth getting the Farmer X Alox. But it does look a step up from the Pioneer X which is a good urban carry. The Victorinox saws are awesome for their size.

Luv my Farmer X Alox with the exception of the key king placement. It digs into my hand when using the saw, knife, and can opener. If it was placed straight back and centred it would be perfect for my use. Might just grind it off but I like the suspension clip carry option. Maybe there is another model better suited to my needs.🇨🇦🇺🇦
I wanted to love this knife but it’s just a little too big for edc carry. Honestly I don’t use a saw or scissors very often so I went back to my trusty pioneer. 👍

Hi, the Alox Farmer is my favorite Victorinox. The Farmer X is on my want list. The Fieldmaster is my favorite Cellidor model. What model is the Blue Cellidor knife? Tganks.

I have had a farmer x for years. It is one of my favorite SAK's. I also really like the One Handed Trekker with plain blade and the Field Master.
