Just to be a little bit of a smart aleck the buried truck is not a Russian truck but rather from a company named IFA. This company was based in East Germany. From what I could see it looked like a L60. Anyway great show, enjoy very much watching it.
You are right. They were built in Ludwigsfelde, somewhere not too far from Berlin. When I grew up in East Germany, we saw them every day, more so it's predecessor, the W50. The L60 had 6 ton payload, the W50 only 5 ton.
This is quickly shaping up to be my favorite series yet... Well done.

I wonder if that truck is still buried there, looks like a nice expedition vehicle if it can be recovered, seems dry enough not to rust away.
