stumbled across you whilst looking for information on converting a 2005 landcruiser into an expedition vehicle. and I'm pleased I did. I watched each episode up to this point but must get to sleep now work in the morning. Looking forward to finishing to get home and watch the rest of this series. very very good watch this far. Thankyou for sharing
Fantastic video, Andrew. Just one correction: "Sumol" is a portuguese brand of orange juice. ;-) A big thank you. I love your videos. The way you tell your stories is fantastic. Best regards from Portugal.
Following your videos for some time already - nice tips about driving off road and how to prepare expeditions. Just a small note on this video: 5m58 secs that's Sumol drink - it's from Portugal and exported to Angola.
I'm very curious to what vehicle you use now for these expeditions since this was filmed in 2010 & your troopy was recently sold. Do you still use the 105 series land cruiser as seen in this video?
FYI, This is called grey water. It's used for washing, showering, laundry etc. And can be filtered to potable standard using the systems we carry on board.
@@4xoverland i love your comments, andrew, and i love your videos..this series is amazing and i`m not even half way through the series.. i often think of how brave you are to do what you do, with all the dangers from wild animals to crazy violent people to land mines. you remind me of the british explorers who traveled the continents of africa and asia like scenes from indiana jones or some early 20th century explorers who wore those white suits and safari hats
Andrew, I would love to are your ideas and opinions on overland travel on a budget! vehicle and equipment for a week of regular overland for under 30k Australian dollars? Also..interested in what watch you wear.. Rolex?
Andrew, China is buying all África and the rest of the world is whacting... PS: The bottle of the orange juice that you drink actually is a Portuguese brand, not Angolan.
@@4xoverland It is also purchased and consumed in Cabo Verde, Guiné, Moçambique, São Tomé e Principe. Please Mr White, don´t get me wrong, my comment is not a bad criticism of your good work. It is only to inform you that Sumol is Portuguese because it is a national symbol. Thank you for answering me and keep up the good work.
I am from Angola, i love my country there are a lot of place to do off road.

Angola is depressing. Sorry, I've seen too much war way back, still dream, I stop here after 5 minutes. Rest of y'all, enjoy. If you can.

No! No! Sumol is not angola orange juice! Is a portuguese orange juice!!!!!
It was purchased and consumed in Angola. To any visitor, that makes it Angolan.
