It’s interesting to me how many people don’t realize that the whole point of the Reverso in the first place was to have nothing on the second side. That way you could flip the watch over to protect it while you played polo. Somewhere along the way the idea of wearing a watch like this while you played sports became ridiculous, so another (almost equally pointless) purpose was found for the reversing case. 😎
@True2022 My own observation is that it is not well known. That’s why I pointed it out. I’m not surprised that you know this already, but in my experience lots of people, including watch nuts, don’t.
All great choices and love your channel, Jenni. As a woman who also loves watches it's good to see reviews on ladies watches especially as there are so few of them. I also like the ladies Seiko Presage cocktail series, Citizen Eco Drive world time, Junkers, Zeppelin and Cartier Ballon Bleu. Thank you.

I wish it was really as hard as most people think. Sometimes we just want a nice watch like the men have but under 40mm. These days you can either find 40+ or 26-28mm gaudy ladies watches covered in pink and diamonds and nothing in between. I just want a good looking watch (or honestly several for different occasions, just like any other dude), that doesn't feel like it'll sever my wrist. That's why I usually go vintage men's. That's where you find the perfect sizing... or honestly rectangular and square usually work comfortably on women (unless they're super oversized).
Great choice! I almost got one for myself as well ;) I was so happy to see someone making a great watch in a range of sizes and not just 27mm and 44mm. 34mm is the perfect ladies size.
late 20s female here: first "luxury" watch is Cartier Tank Anglaise, very timeless indeed, and it goes well with everyday work outfits; well-known brand & design, but no need to spend so much time and effort to buy one (like Rolex)
I purchased Patek Twenty 4 in stainless steel for my wife. $5,000 US on the used market in the US. She also has ladies Rolex Datejust with a diamond bezel and markers. She loves them both.
I chuckled when I heard the French pronounciation of “Jaeger LeCoultre”, and literally spit my coffee when you dropped “elegant as f*ck”. Kudos to you. Now I have to change my shirt. :)
I definitely prefer the Cartier... a classy timeless timepiece! I am sure my wife will love it. Thanks, Jenni! I love your videos and practical advices.
I bought a Longines Dolce Vita for my wife, she prefers larger watches so I bought the mens chrono model which she absolutely loves. It really does look impressive, she gets quite a lot of comments when she wears it.
Nice roundup! OP34 a good (big) choice as are plain bezel/oyster bracelet Datejusts for all round steel watches. Aqua Terra also in smaller sizes and now in quartz if that's your thing. Generally though, I think there is a lack of imagination from manufacturers when it comes to smaller/womens watches. All a bit 'shrink it and pink it!' That said, you can't go wrong with the Tank or Reverso, if square is for you. Still holding out for a 32/34 Panerai Radiomir for my wife!

Man's Seiko from late 80's and early 90's could be worn by women, Citizen made many nice designs in late 90's and 2000's and don't forget about Tissot, Festina, Vostok or even Baby-G if you looking for good quality, nice design for lower price.
So it would be my 25 birthday soon. When my brother asked me what I want for my birthday, I chose the Tudor Style 34mm (black dial). I really liked it because it walks the line between dressy and sporty. Any thoughts?
Great choice! I think that's something that ignored with women's watches. People think we either want dressy or sporty and usually exclude the sporty options. But I prefer something exactly in between! That's what a contemporary ladies watch should be! Something both classy/dressy and sporty but also between 32 and 38mm.

This was really helpful as I'm planning on gifting my mum a watch to celebrate her retirement. Funnily enough my wife has a bunch of her own watches but always seems to steal my 38mm Khaki Field Auto!
The Nomos Orion 33 Rose is currently at the top of my list. I also think Longines is an undervalued choice especially for women. In my experience the quality and workmanship is excellent at a relatively reasonable price for features usually only found in large sized watches. But with Longines it is possible to find real features such as automatic movement, display back, super lume, 100M - 300M water resistance etc. in case sizes 34 and below. I have a Conquest and a Dolce Vita and really enjoy both.
There was a time when Longines was considered one of the best brands in the world. They were incredible innovators and highly respected. They suffered a bit during the quartz crisis and takeover by Swatch and are now considered more entry level luxury with prices to match. But any serious collectors know they're hiiiiighly underrated these days! Great watches and well worth their value!
I bought my wife a Seiko013, and she loved it. Love the channel and your approach, but how about once in a while descending from the thousands of Euros level to the hundreds level?
The advise of choosing together is probably the best one. This can really be “do or die” because the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and “choosing it for her because you know best” can get you in so much trouble...

Another great video Jenni! Love your style and hope you get more women viewers too
This was really helpful as I'm planning on gifting my mum a watch to celebrate her retirement.
I agree. Watches are a very personal thing and if you're getting something expensive, might as well get it right the first time lol
Consider Seiko Lukia collection...mainly the Autumn collections special editions are gorgeous.
Beautiful wedding photograph!
My girlfriend wants a Cartier , my mistress wants a Chopard, my wife wants my will.
Nah. Pretty sure your wife wants a divorce because you're an adulterous asshole.
@ekim andersom Not all guys here. Lifelong lady collector here, raised by two lifelong collectors. Also... who cares if it's just guys or not. Adultery or honesty...all still the same.
🥴🥴🥴🤣🤣🤣
At this rate, your will will read “I got nothing left.”
Congrats to the winner.
6:57 "elegant as fuck" 😂 😂 😂
Hi Jenny, you look so pretty !
One from left field. The Seagull 1963. Very cool PLAAF (Chinese Air force) watch, I'm a man but would suit a woman. Several women have commented that they'd like one.
