    A lapse in my judgement while checking out ripped off sequences by Bollywood on the internet. Want to apologise to Apoorv, also known as @thatonedumbkidd on Instagram that originally created the comparative edit between Dabangg and 500 Days Of Summer. You can follow him here:
    instagram.com/thatonedumbkidd/
    The internet is a scary place where the original author of inventive edits with so much circulation gets lost in the void. My apologies to him again. Check him out, he posts some dope film content on Instagram!

      The internet is obviously a place where the credit to the original creator gets lost. But if you're 'checking out ripped off sees by Bollywood' somewhere, there must be someone/some channel positing it, right? Funnily you didn't that channel too.
      Giving wrong credits is human, not giving any credits to anyone is intended. :)

      @@SairaSabir1443AH I won't argue much with you , Saira since you're partially right. She did move up the ladder in a nepotistic mafia based Bollywood. However , the way she behaved afterwards is absolutely disgraceful. In case you don't know , she's a lapdog of BJP these days which is a right-wing political group and is busy targetting all minorities be it Muslims or Sikhs or Christians. Secondly , even if we leave her political views aside , she used Sushant's name to garner support in her political and personal endeavours and later even tried bashing the very actors whom she worked with. She was Aditya Pancholi's girlfriend for around 5 years and tried all sort of drugs with him. But today , she's accusing the entire Bollywood of being addicts (which although they are) when she herself was into the same dealings. So yes she might have been right earlier but now she has lost all credibility. That's all.

    Just a point to consider.
    I understand the intention of this series is to point out the regressive and out right plagiarized moments in Indian cinema.
    But to keep mentioning the need for "socially appropriate" cinema can also lead to a severe overcorrection to the other direction. Ultra moralistic or socially acceptable content also leads to rigid thinking.
    In the end it's the exploration of art that always suffers. I feel the major problem and the reasons why cinema like these were made, is because of pandering and lack of sincerity from the creators (i.e, writers, directors and producers) to the story.
    Also, big fan of your channel.
    All the best.

    • @sanjusabu5488
      @sanjusabu5488 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The point again comes down to glorification and normalising these acts, which indeed needs to be pointed out..If a violent seen is shown with wowowowo tune then its not appropriate but the same scene with sad music serves justice for the scene..

    • @indrajitghosh4187
      @indrajitghosh4187 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Lets just face it: the reason those unwatchable scenes were added to the movies, including the raunchy dance sequences, rapes and eve teasing was just to provide sexual excitement in an otherwise repressed social environment of the 70s 80s and 90s. They are about as artistic as a wine tasting party with bottles filled with sweage water from the gutters. I would anyday have bland, politically correct films instead of those abominations in the name of movies.

    • @potatoface1041
      @potatoface1041 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agree, but if they are showing something wrong, the consequences need to be severe as well..what kind of movie is it if it shows the rapist gets to marry the girl ? Showing repercussions about something inappropriate is equally important..for e.g. Kabir Singh technically should have been shown spending some time in rehab to get over his alcohol addiction..and maybe anger management..and then getting to see Preeti after sometime..

    The fact that this ep is preluded by a scene from that infamous 500 Days of Summer (even though fir totally different reason) In which it entails of the obsession the male protagonist has for his counterpart... In later interviews and even on Twitter to an observation from a fan, Gordon-Levitt repeatedly warned against sympathizing with his character Tom, who "develops a mildly delusional obsession over a girl onto whom he projects all these fantasies [...] That’s falling in love with the idea of a person, not the actual person." Levitt has made it evidently clear that in fact Tom was the actual villain and not Summer.
    The fact that this movie scene was used for this creep ep is truly chilling. Coincidence? Or not...
