Helm of Awakening is great to reduce all the manacost by 1 to explode more easily with the artifacts and get in a loop more easily too. Personally like Oko as a removal and it produces creatures for yourself if you need them.
This also makes Signets and Talismans much easier to run 🤔... not a big fan of giving my opponents ramp, but I like this a lot. Will test, thanks :) Oko is already on my Considering list
Does anyone have an idea for a more "fun" big creature to make a polymorph deck around ? For the casual tables here and there. Somethijg that doesn't combo off but rather puts madness on the table (still me ahead tho)
@@cedhtv I honestly think Forbidden Orchard is underrated & has lost favor in the cEDH meta since the onslaught of Tymna/X decks out there. Normally giving your opponent a 1/1 that barely blocks and only has a semi relevant creature type would mean next to nothing in a combo-heavy 40 life format for the sake of optimal color fixing IoI but now there’s a high probability that “irreverent 1/1” could give your opponents card advantage, which is very problematic...
It's a obvious add yes, but it's a land. We forget those things sometimes Also my Polymorph deck: www.moxfield.com/decks/zsDwkpAmsUesKOcE2A1IsA Benefits of mine: Fast Naus/Peer plays. @@proxytheboat7117 My apologies, I don’t get to talk about cEDH much lately since my meta fell apart (in part due to plague but there were other toxic reasons). So, when I actually got a response, I got eager to contribute in some deeper personal insight to my recommendation & I may have come across as condescending or pushy.
exactly this. I like poly urza but I just don't think urza can really be cedh viable since you're restricted to blue. You gotta end up having godly luck with drawing stax cards and having clutch counterspells waaay too frequently imo
I guess this really showcase how OP a mono colored commande have to be. I mean look at how good Urza is as a single card. That is a really OP card in Modern and such. Yisan is also kinda busted when you just look at him. But both being mono colored just hurts them sooo much in cEDH.
@@jeef16 in fairness I've drawn lit hands for turn 2 wins. And I have yet to hit a turn 1 which is possible but too many cards to hit that god hand. Havnt played with my urza in a while been favoring korvold & kess over it.
@@DVS57REBEL yea i mean its *possible* to draw a t2 win combo, but that doesnt mean you're going to be doing it every game. Or even if the combo can end up resolving.
@@jeef16 that could be said about any build. Really comes down to play preference. I went the stax route when I assembled urza ooo a while back. It works, it wins but even I got tired of the heavy stax game from my part.
Can yoi forward a question to tangelo? I've built a temur deck with thrasios//dargo centered around the same concept: cheating the blu tyrant. But i can play dork, dockside, Hullbreacher, gilded drake, spellseeker and having a "beatdown plan c". Is It worth it losing all of these great creature for the sake of the combo?
I have sent him your question. In general this is the big downside. No creatures :( and yes that is a big real downside. Hard to say honestly. Still I think it works fine.
I have personaly yes but we alredy have soo many. The thing with lukka that I like is that you can poly thrasios and play 1 mana dorks. That is honestly nice. But when you have 5 poly spells alredy you simplu don't need this.
dunno if you guys cares but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my gf lately =)
Hey, I am new to Cedh and having a blast. I watched your video which ranked Kinnan as 3rd best Commander to start with CEDH and make a deck and I have been having a blast and won some games. I am already looking at a 2nd deck. This one peak my interest. Is this a deck you would recommend for a beginner?
i know it is a bit of a longshot, and with 3 colors it might not be the best land ... but it might be worth running Emergence zone ... that way you can surprise people and run the combo at instant speed
I remember commenting about this deck a few videos back. Thanks so much for covering it, it helped a lot.
I remember. I wanned to see this deck in action a bit untill I made a video for it. It is new and all.

I’m building a Rograkh/Silas polymorph deck with Vilis, but I’m struggling with win cons because LED is outside my budget at the moment
lotus petal is a small option. Not the same tihing but it can do it. Kinda.
How do you win with vilis?

nezahal is quite good. Like really good. Draws a lot of fun cards.
@@cedhtv thanks !
Should he run Forbidden Orchard to enable Oath of Druids?
I actually think so.

@@proxytheboat7117 but also, this deck is sweet, I look forward to seeing it grow & carve out a place for itself in our wonderful format
This version corrects having a dependency on strong mulligan game with poly-urza.

It is in exeperement stage. I think crop rotation could be great in this deck because of counterspell tree, tabernacle and instant speed land.
It's sad the fact that no one talks about T&T😔
They have been so overplayed that no one wanna play them for a while. Also red is sooo fun these days. Haven't seen them been played for a while.
what's there to talk about really? TnT has been around for a long time
