  • This deck is really growing on me. It is really fun. It is not the best deck but it is really fun. And it has gotten a few upgrades from new prints and the metagame has changed a bit so this deck has to change too.
    But this is also a deck tech video for my Pako haldan divergent as we kinda have to go over and explain what form of a deck this is.

      @@cedhtv Well there is a lot of gameplay for the most powerful ones ,I was interested the most in madfarm but i saw you did a very similar decktech recently ,i didnt know how to win if something happened to my leonin . So I would like deck tech on things than can push for a competive deck, like Pako, I also like Kroxa discard, Xyris, diferent stax comanders. Is harder to find cEDH content on that, as most of the channels run very casual builds.

    hm, i wonder how coral commander will fit into the 2020 metagame. attacking an opponent for 3 damage a turn is nice for triggering tymna and lowering their hp for their ad naus plan, but i wonder how justified a 3 mana 3/2 can be, the low creature count in decks should give it a bump.

    here, back in the room, i have 2 questions:
    -why you dont use scroll rack, Sensei's divining top or sylvan library to prevent exile onr of your combo pieces and to search the combo fast.
    -in the case of agravated assault, i use bear umbra to infinite attack and pako protection, opinion?
    thanks, mons, i follow this deck from the budget version and i said, its very fun

    • @cedhtv
      @cedhtv  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1: I don't like those cards. Personaly. I think I have sylvan library in the deck tho that card I like. But you go minus a card with the other two. And I don't think they value beck what I lose casting and using them.
      2: Nothing wrong with that. In a slower meta that is fine. but right now I am even thorn about the sword of feast. But I can see some good stuff with the bear umbra.
      Glad you like the deck. I think this is going to get stronger over time even.

    Burgeoning puts the land into play from your hand, but Haldan allows you to play them from exile. Because you don't "play" the land, it's a trigger from Burgeoning, I don't think this works?

    • @cedhtv
      @cedhtv  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct that is also what I said in the video. Because of this in the mate late game you can use haldans ability to play lands from exile and then keep the land in your hand for Burgeoning.

    • @cedhtv
      @cedhtv  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Are they really grindy? Are they trying to controll the game with counterspells and card draw? In that case you need to tweek and change this deck a bit and make it better vs grindy decks. But it is possible. This version is more tweked VS fast combo decks.

      No not like that. Normally burgening stop working as you don't have lands in hand because of land drops right. However with pako you exile lands that you play with haldan. So now you don't use your landrops for the lands you have in hand. This is where burgening helps out even in the later game state.
