  • This is a diy jewelry box I made from scrap wood cutoffs in just one day. Finished with Rubio Monocoat and loved how fun it was. Follow along and learn how to build this wood box.
This project build was completed in a total of 8 hours across the span of two days. Not too shabby for something made in a garage shop! The lid is book matched walnut which I thought turned out gorgeous. The body is a beautiful walnut and the drawer front is katalox. The insert and drawer is a mix of walnut and red oak.
    Tools Used:
    Grizzly G0855 Jointer
Oliver Machinery Benchtop Planer with Shelix
    Laguna 1412 Bandsaw
    Sawstop Jobsite Pro Table Saw
    Craftsman Miter Saw
Jesse Router Table - 1/4 Spiral Bit / Large Chamfer Bit / 1/4 Roundover bit

Great box. Never understood why people put on that repetitive crappy music though. Just go with shop sounds or nothing at all.

Much appreciated. And I agree, many of my recent videos are a bit more polished, especially with the gain in confidence after doing it for a while.
