    It's dark outside now and I'm in my nightclothes, but I have a serious urge to sneak out into the yard, pluck some leaves and start printing! Lovely work.

    Lovely Theresa I must buy some of those paints I am using pebeo at the moment. Maybe they are too heavy I liked the dark one best, do you have to seal the prints before framing them

    • @TeresaMorgan
      @TeresaMorgan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pebeo paints should work fine, just don't apply them too thickly. I do like the fluidity of these paints though and they have a nice sheen to them when dry. I never seal my prints. Acrylic paints are permanent when dry and wont transfer or rub off.

    Enjoyed this video very much. I do in fact have some difficulty accessing leaves even in Fall, but have taken to going through the flower section of Michael's when I get there, to see if bits have fallen off onto the floor. I've acquired a small collection of leaves from there -- they are veined nicely -- and these don't fade away either. I'm not sure how long real leaves last once you've painted over them a few times. Does that kind of preserve them?

    What I use for stamping, I think will work for doing this too is on amazon you can buy replacement air hockey pucks. They give you a smooth all over look and are cheap. Which as a crafter, is always something we need to be looking for to save for other things. LOL
    I have not started with this gel printing yet as I want to know what to do before I buy into it. I have learned this lesson from other crafts that only made me hate the idea of crafting! This really looks like something I can do for card fronts to give them pop. As that is why I stopped making cards, mine just never looked the ones on youtube. : (

    Just thought of another stamping idea that would work for doing the gel this way, a stamping platform You don't need to go out and pay a forturne for one of those either, amazon has them as well and craft store sales. This will save you on having to keep buying tape. : )
