Another check you should do before replacing the fuel pump is to disconnect the hose like you did at 3:30 and then put a piece of fuel hose on the connector (30 cm / 12 inches should be enough). Put the open end into a jar or bottle and then have somebody crank the car for 5-10 seconds. If it fills up with fuel, you know that your problem lies somewhere between the pump and the engine. Replacing the fuel pump would be fruitless and a waste of money in that case.

Could have been the pump relay, should have checked that before buying a new pump.
