      Exactly, rarely is the answer to improving an already lived in space "BUY MORE STUFF". Often it's better to reorganize what you have, or get rid of something. This guy livens up a place just by reordering the priority of why things live where they do.

    When it was the practice model, I didn't think your new way would work cause it looked a bit cramped with the table, but seeing it in real life... It looks so good! Looks really flowy actually

    I've literally moved my desk from my back to the room to a more 'command' position and it has had the biggest impact already! Also now for video calls I have a wall behind me too. Thanks so much!! It's insane how much all your advice, even the smallest stuff, has changed my life for the better 🙂

      I also rearranged my office after binging Cliff's videos. I actually did work at my desk yesterday for the first time in months, and I'm not even finished all the redesign. (Gotta clear out the clutter, which is very bad Feng Shui!)

    So much better! I was thinking, “they need a larger rug, larger dresser, larger end table…” But at the end, you arranged everything so beautifully/harmoniously, new items weren’t needed. So, now you know!

    I'm a interior designer and I love your show because it helps me understand why some layouts I've tried are just terrible for me . I wish you could help me with my tiny space ! I'm always better with other people's spaces than mine for some odd reason..

    The apartment was already nicely decorated, good uniformity throughout all the furniture. But not it's also nicely organised! Clearly a better fliw to the whole apartment with the same furniture, truly marvelous how you do this so well

    I never would have thought to put the table in the living area. I would have told myself it would have made it look cluttered and cramped but it actually opened the entire space up!

    I lived in a studio apartment and the only wall to place the head of the bed was across from a large window. I felt like I was in the cockpit of an airplane when I was in bed trying to sleep. Definitely avoid that at all costs.
    PS: Lovely apartment and you made it even better!

    In my previous apartment I accidentally placed my desk in the command position purely because my cat would scream at me if I didn't look at her (or maybe she was telling me that my back was unprotected?) so I made sure I could see the entire living room/cat lounge space from my desk.
    After moving to my new temporary apartment (cat moved to my dad's house) I thought the desk placement just felt off because I wasn't used to it yet, but after watching these videos I moved the desk a quarter turn to the command position and I'll be damned if it doesn't actually feel better.
    As an added bonus I could place my PC in the cool window instead of on the floor so it's less likely to overheat and I have better access to it.
