Hello all, for me it is not clear what's the difference between the UF-7 and the DG-1 system. What i want for my TRX4 is a light installation in combination with the hood light bar 6" for example. The light bar on top should also be switchable. Waterproof would also be fine :). Thanks for support.
Hi, thanks for the question. For the adjustable Light Bar you could install one of our DG-1 systems like Attack Off Road 160. This is an adjustable brightness Light Bar system that is waterproof. We are working on a full DG-1 system for TRX4 (with headlights, reverse and running lights), but it's still a few weeks away from shipping. Should have them soon though.
HELP I've got a uf-7 and I got all dual leds I got dual halogen dual brake lights dual orange and dual amber blinkers I can't get them to all stay on? I'm running a 9v and I just want the light to stay on what should I do. I thought I need to be in mode 1 but when I plug the headlights in they turn off the others. I'm thinking about returning the unit if I can't get it working the way I'd like. I've seen a ton of awesome videos and I really liked this controller the manual was pretty bland any help would be appreciated.

Yes. Actually, if you want to use the light bars it's best to wait for the Dragon kit. We are working on it as quickly as we can, but it will still be several weeks before it's available.
Wiil be getting this system in a few weeks and some plasti dip for water proofing. if i dont want the running lights on all the time can i add a switch for that

love your systems, I have them for a couple of my other RCs and have placed my order for this one. Big question. Is this system water proof? If not then I will build a water tight enclosure, but would rather not have to. Thanks for your reply.
Hi, Thanks for the positive feedback! Unfortunately the UF-7 is not waterproof. You may want to look at using our SQ-1 controller instead of the UF-7. It is waterproof and has almost the same features as the UF-7 except no turn signals, and it will require some LED Splitter Y-Cables due to limited number of outputs on the controller. The SQ-1 also has auto-hazard light function.
MyTrick RC Perfect! I'll go that route in the future. For now l'm bought into the UF-7, do I need to be concerned about any heat problems if I build a waterproof box?
I wish you would have went into the wiring onto the TRX4 body in a little more detail. Like are you wires all cut exactly to length? Did electrical tape them? Waterproof them? How are they mounted or secured to the body? NO details on how you mounted the lightbar so we cannot see if it was mounted cleanly or not. I went to the website to buy the light bar but the site makes you buy an extra controller which I do not need if I buy the light kit for the TRX4. Only thing preventing me from ordering the kit + lightbar right now is these issues. You need to offer another COMPLETE Kit option for the TRX4 on the website that includes light bar options or a TRX4 build your kit option. Also it would be cool if you made rock lights.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. No wires were cut during the install. We simply taped them up with masking tape. Then we used the included zip ties and body mounts that are included with the UF-7 to strap the cables to the body. I hope this explanation helps. Super simple and looks good to us. BTW that's a 6" light bar in our Video.

I enjoy making the electronic control module myself, so I have Everything I need but that file... Is it out there, or is it something you guys made in house?

MyTrick RC thanks for responding. Is it possible to switchable (on/off) via transmitter or only plug off hull and disconnect the cable?
Can you get the turn signal use as a hazzard light, how do you do it.

Trx4 with its extra servos won't you need to install a BEC ? So the esc won't overheat and fail .thanks
this controller work on 3s battery no harm on LED lights?thanks

There is a mode for running lights normally OFF, and another mode for normally ON (they are right next to each other on the mode order).
Looks like it's still a WIP. Tidy up the loom, make the cable to the controller a little longer and it's an awesome product.

Correct. If you want to run it in water you would want to protect the UF-7.
Correct, it is not.
The light bar installed as shown with the UF-7 in this video burned out my ESC ($95 part).
