How I Install the Traxxas TRX-4 Complete LED Light Kit 8030

Showing you how I install the Traxxas TRX-4 Complete LED Light Kit!! It's the 8030 LED light set installed on a Traxxas TRX-4 Land Rover Defender Adventure Edition rock crawler! This easy to install RC light kit is bright and looks GOOOOD! The Traxxas TRX-4 LED Light kit includes a RC LED rock light kit, a RC LED light bar, a RC LED headlight and a RC LED tail light harness. This 8030 RC LED light set features high low brightness for the light bar and headlights. It has a sealed waterproof LED design and its power supply connects the receiver and ESC with a 3 in 1 LED wire harness. It works all lights with a single connection between the body and the chassis - connected with a single plug. I’ve installed LED lights without light kits and some with - I definitely like what Traxxas offers in this 8030 TRX 4 Complete LED light kit. It looks great on my Traxxas TRX-4 Defender.

Does that power box have room for another set of lights? For example, if adding a push bar with 2 lights and one connector to my TRX4 Bronco bumper can it plug into the power box? Looks like there are 4 slots available and the kit uses 2 slots. Also what is the voltage out of the box about 3V? You make it look easy, nice video.

Hi Koen! I bought these from Traxxas for around $100 ... this kit number is #8030 ... but you can buy lights for less on Amazon for less or AsiaTees or Banggood etc

These look amazing and I’m actually in the middle of installing these lights but how “waterproof” are these lights? I don’t want a puddle or slightly bigger than a puddle to be the reason my $100 light set goes down the drain

Hello,
As only one couple if pin are used in the light module, there are some pin connectors exposed. There is no problems to drive into water?
