I'm with you, Natasha. I love the tiny brushes! I've only used them stenciling but watching you today has me excited to get out some of my embossing folders and coloring them in. Great video! Thank You!
Your card is beautiful Natasha. Your coloring is awesome. I really like Morning Mist for sentiments and stamping full backgrounds with small stamps. Thanks for letting us follow along as you color. I have been getting better and can't wait to try a version of your card.🌷🌷
BEAUTIFUL card! Love the coloring technique! I don't particularly have great success putting ink on the embossing folder so this was a fantastic technique for me. Thank you.
I've had these brushes in my shopping cart for a while now, trying to reign in my spending lololol. And here you are, making it harder for me to not checkout 😆
That Elizabeth craft dies is likely the most used die in my entire craft room! I reach for it all the time. Thanks for the idea with the detailed blending brushed. I just bought some and haven’t used them too much yet.
I am terrible at coloring! I have tried alcohol markers and brush markers! I have tried watercolors and gelatos, just to name a few. The results always look like a 3 year old did it. I have also tried ink on embossing folders, but usually am not happy with the results. I like the control those little brushes gave you. You always make cardmaking and coloring look so easy. I'm going to have to acquire some small brushes like yours and give it another try!
Very beautiful card. I love the 3D folders. I’ve had my little brushes for about 6 or 7 months. I have found them so easy to handle and get much better results with them. Thanks for your lovely card again this morning.
Thanks Natasha for sharing your technique with us. I have tried the Spellbinders tiny sponges on a stick when they came out and I used them on many things recently with an Autumm stencil of the falling leaves. I am handicap severely in my hands but I use these little sponges on a 4" stick/dowel through the stencil and I am always happy with the results. It is slow going so if you are in a hurry this is not for you. With the slim size of the stick the sponges come on, I am able to get a hold of them pretty well. From Canada 🇨🇦 Jo
Hi Natasha. I have had these brushes for about 2 weeks now and I di really like them. I however got the FLAT ones as you use in this VDO - But I also got the ANHLED tip ones as well - and for the edging as you have done here - the angled ones are a treat for sure - Love however your ability and steady hand to do it with the flat tip ones!! ooxx
This is s really good embossing folder, I love the ones I already have from Altenew especially the Bergenia. This one is very pretty and has a good focal image. I was just wondering whether when you cut out that lovely frame which is really nice, if the 3D embossing got flattened. I sometimes put them back in and get it to pop up again. Like you said I also haven't had much luck with using water or direct to the embossing folder. Some work out but some are really to be discarded I've found. The result of this card is very pretty.
This 4 piece set has been on my wishlist forever! I do have these brushes and grab them every time I ink color something. They clean out well because there’s not a lot of bristles. They come in a flat head or angled.
Beautiful card!! Wonderful demonstration of the small brushes. I do not have them but it would be nice. I get so excited and I smile when I see you have posted a video!! You are so easy to understand and you give options if I don't have what you are using. Also, your voice is cheerful. Thank you💕🐬
@@margaretboardman4098 mine are by Altenew. Comes in a pack of three different sizes. They are blending brushes. Clean with a baby wipe or just run under warm water. I got them through a local independent craft store near my home town in Ontario Canada but I am sure you could find them in any craft store or through Altenew directly.
Excellent! I once used eye shadow sponge applicators for this technique on a card order of 20. It was an effective, but slow process. These mini stencil brushes certainly streamline the process! TSM for demonstrating this technique. 💕
Beautiful card and the colours are gorgeous. I only have one of those brushes that I got with a magazine but they look really nice to use so may have to invest in some. Thank you for this lovely idea.
Gorgeous! I did that too a few days ago.. emboss something and then run a die cut.. WEEEHH embossing went flatter lol so I ended up reversing the order. Have to be very precise then but I was so bummed I had rolled my embossing flatter when die cutting *chuckle
Hi Natasha. I've tried this technique with my embossing folders but instead of using the tiny blending brushes, I used my watercolours with tiny watercolour brushes. Your card is beautiful. I must order me some tiny blending brushes like yours. TFS. Keep well .God bless. 💙🤗🌹🌼
My versa clair inks are being delivered today! I’m so excited! I have wanted those for years! Ever since the first one came out which was nocturne-black. You cannot beat these for crisp impressions!
Hi Natasha. Gorgeous card. No, I haven't tried the small brushes yet. I have just gotten some regular brushes and will start to play with ink blending a bit first. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
Your card is BEAUTIFUL. The rose reminds me of a "Peace" rose (my absolute favorite) because there is a hint of Spiced Marmalade in the center of the pink (Spiced Marmalade left on brush when you started with the pink). I love the dark lines you created with the side of the brush. It adds depth to the colors on the flowers (imo). TFS!
Beautiful!!! Because you clearly give your authentic opinion based on your own experience with various products, wondering if you have or could do a video about the types of inks pads to include a bit about their differences & best way to use? I’m so new to stamping, I’d love to learn more from you.
I’ve just discovered these brushes too! I prefer the round tips versus the flat but have only coloured stamped images. Will need to try on embossed images now!
Very pretty card, Natasha! I have a number of Altenew embossing folders, one was included in a bundle I got that had a stencil with it, and so far I've not had what I would consider great success in using the stencil over the embossed image, believe it or not! I'll have to use your technique here and just go straight to the image without the stencil and see if I have better results. Thanks for sharing!
I love this coloring technique. I have been contemplating a brush set like this and you’ve shown that it’s quite versatile. Keep the die set coming, it’s really nice! The finished card ended up being so beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration, I needed more ideas for my embossing folders.
I bought the mini brushes based on one of your videos and they are perfect to work with. I trust your use of supplies and buy accordingly to my needs. You never disappoint so I value everything you do and use. You’re the best! Thank you.
Hi. That's a gorgeous splash of summer warmth to cheer up what has to be the wettest, dullest Autumn for a long time here in the UK. Thank you for sharing this spot of sunshine as we head steadily onwards towards winter. Talking of winter, I'll bet that would look great as a Christmas card if done in deeper colours with a touch of something metallic or glittery for that frosted look. I tend to lean towards traditional Christmas cards as we don't tend to see too many folks popping a turkey on the barbecue while having a pool party during December in this neck of the woods, although I suppose there will always be a bright spark or two that may think that's a perfectly good reason to give it a go! 😂 Thanks for sharing another of your super videos, they're a real treat.
Such a beautiful card! I am wondering if cutting the stitched edges after embossing flattened the embossing any? I don’t have the tiny brushes you have but I do have very tiny brushes with the handles. I will have to give them a go and see if they work as well as yours. I’m guessing not because they are rounded. Love the video!
I have never tried to just emboss only on one 1/4 of my paper! I kind of feel a bit dumb for not thinking about this! Lol It looks beautiful. Thanks for the tip! :)
Hello Tash, I love what you did with this embossing folder, I have several and love making cards with them. I recently bought some of those brushes, I’m still getting used to using them, I have had some good results but still get ink where I don’t want lol 😂
The card is beautiful, another clever use of embossing folders. Do l need 🤔 the brushes? Of course l do! 🤣
I'm with you, Natasha. I love the tiny brushes! I've only used them stenciling but watching you today has me excited to get out some of my embossing folders and coloring them in. Great video! Thank You!
I haven't used the small brushes or invested in them yet. After seeing this beautiful card, the brushes might be on my wish list.
Beautiful coloring. I like it better than watercoloring as it’s easier for me
Another beautiful card, your ideas and technique are amanzing 🥰❤️
Beautiful card. The blending brushes are on my wish list. Thank you for sharing.
I have the brushes from Ali and I love them, got 2 big sets, one for oxide, one for reg distress. Can’t wait to try them this way. Tfs
Your card is beautiful Natasha. Your coloring is awesome. I really like Morning Mist for sentiments and stamping full backgrounds with small stamps. Thanks for letting us follow along as you color. I have been getting better and can't wait to try a version of your card.🌷🌷
I have three four sets of them. Mine are Amazon and Altenew. I love them.
Me too😻
BEAUTIFUL card! Love the coloring technique! I don't particularly have great success putting ink on the embossing folder so this was a fantastic technique for me. Thank you.
Beautiful cards always.
Beautiful technique 😀 I have to get those brushes and give it a try ! Thank you for your tutorial
I've had these brushes in my shopping cart for a while now, trying to reign in my spending lololol. And here you are, making it harder for me to not checkout 😆
Your colouring is brilliant!
I WILL be trying this! TFS!
Hmm with those brushes it looks like I could actually do some decent coloring… Thank you for trying these out👍
Looking really gorgeous!!
What a wonderful card, I love my three D embossing folders. I believe they are one of my most used products
That Elizabeth craft dies is likely the most used die in my entire craft room! I reach for it all the time. Thanks for the idea with the detailed blending brushed. I just bought some and haven’t used them too much yet.
Beautiful! I too have found you cut the shape first and then emboss the shape. It doesn't flatten down. I have a few of the brushes and love them.❤️
I am terrible at coloring! I have tried alcohol markers and brush markers! I have tried watercolors and gelatos, just to name a few. The results always look like a 3 year old did it. Beautiful card . I have the brushes but not used them yet . My hobby seems to be collecting craft things rather than using them 😞
No worries, Angela. A lot of us suffer from the same "Gotta have 'em all" syndrome.
Yes, that can be a tough one to keep in check! ☺️
Very beautiful card. I love the 3D folders. I’ve had my little brushes for about 6 or 7 months. I have found them so easy to handle and get much better results with them. Thanks for your lovely card again this morning.
Really a lovely soft looking elegant card. Gotta get me some of those brushes! 😜
You do such beautifully creative work. Thank you so much for sharing.

Totally love your card ❤
This 4 piece set has been on my wishlist forever! I do have these brushes and grab them every time I ink color something. They clean out well because there’s not a lot of bristles. They come in a flat head or angled.

So pretty! I too love the morning mist color ink. 🤩
