The bib is so clever for all of the ways you used it.

Instead of the metal bakers scraper, I use an all wooden one, my husband made for me, the scraper part is thin wood, when ironed, the wood creates a natural steam to set the seam. He also made me a clapper.

That was so sweet of him! Very talented. My hubby is not handy like that but he was great with our teens, now grown. Thank heaven! lol👍

Commenting as I watch (in case I forget at the end) Notion #1 - use a permanent marker and draw 1/4" 1/2" lines along the bottom, to iron folded seams on your projects. #2 Love this idea. #3 Another great idea. #10 I stuck some of that rubber shelving stuff onto my foot pedal - really helps to stop it moving around on my laminate floor. Thanks for sharing these ideas 🤩I need to watch your other video tips :) Now subbed.

A thick elastic band around your floor pedal keeps it still!

I use 1/4” tape to hold my zippers in place when I’m sewing them. I place it across the teeth to both sides. This way, it holds the fabric down as well. Another tip is to use dental floss in my takeup lever on my machine. You wouldn’t believe how much lint gets in there.

I have the little Oliso iron like yours and just love it. It really helps my shoulder.

On a previous video- rubber grabbers to put under machine pedals- this tip is just for you! Because I’ve had 12 surgeries on my hands, i use something similar. When getting a blood test, they use rubber strips as a tourniquet. Some technicians will give it to you since they throw them away. These are great for opening pop bottles and jars, strainer inside pressure cookers, pin/ needle. Hope it helps you & others!

Thank you for thinking of me :) You diffidently should know with 12 hand surgery's under your belt. I'm at 3 and hope I'm done.

Yep one of the suggestions that I saw but have not tried yet. Is to put the glue on the back but to press it down on the parchment paper to flatten it so that it doesn’t have any height to it.

The parchment paper would have helped get it smoother and flat, thanks!!

I dislike putting my scissors on a magnetized rod because then all your loose pins stick to the scissors too.

The baby bib thing?? I’ve found that a clean brown small paper bag (decent used one works) taped to my table works great and can be free!

I thought for sure you were going to use that metal magnet knife holder as a seam guide

Oh wow good idea but it was really heavy and might be a bit of overkill for seam guide.

velcro for foot pedal: I tried both years ago and I have a cheap linoleum in my area. Didn't work.
