  • In this video i make a fence from old pallets to go along the edge of the track/ market garden. i use whole pallets to build with and just bricks and some old posts. building a fence from pallets is fairly simple and with a bit of paint you can make a pallet fence look good.

    The blue ones are stronger because they’re actually owned 😂 a truck comes by to pick up the red and blue ones. I looked into it so I wouldn’t get fined.

      Same here so many pine trees and other well rooted trees is enough of a fight then if you get past that it's clay and it's solid. 🤣 I did a tpost fence for my chickens about a 200yd perimeter and that bout killed me 😭😅 the last post is so bent up and sitting on a root but I waved the white flag and said it'll do it's a chicken not a hog it's fine 😮‍💨

    Lovely video for a cheap fence. Couldn't help noticing the first pallet was horizontal and all the others vertical, a design feature? :). Appreciate the hint on barn paint, and the rope really did finish it off nicely. Thanks for making the video. Did you know the blue pallets are made better because they belong to a Brambles company, called Chep, who want them back so they can reuse them? They paint them blue so they can identify them...

    In our area of the US, you couldn't pound wooden posts into the ground for the rocks. You must have very soft ground there.

    @dontcagemeinanimalrescue9548 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Umm... Animal rescue here. To double up the height just use longer posts and would we need something in between the top and bottom pallets? Also can you think of any way to adhere those bricks together> the dogs would surely push those out.

    • @norxgirl1
      @norxgirl1 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm thinking since they were screwed in place, there would just be a little bit of a gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground....if digging dogs, you might need to put a more permanent ground barrier in place.....
      We also need a higher fence....

    The red and blue pallets are owned by companies. Red is LPR and blue is CHEP. You can get fines for using them like that.
    The pallets are part of a rental system.
