That is beautiful job iam to try to bilt my fance the same way you did your that is so beautiful work thanks for sharing this video my name is jose i l live in New Jersey USA
Phill, I,m 68 and dont need a fence down my garden but I just sat and watched your vid anyway , for tips , you are an inspiration , and your dad,s a good fence painter too he must be so proud of you , thanks for your help , cheers Roy
Hi Phil, what an excellent video! I know it's a year ago. My backyard is similar to your dad's. The fence is quite strong copying you would save having to trim the hedge and brambles all the time. May I ask what type drills did you use? Thanks.
Amazing job. Its guys like you that show people you dont have to be rich in order to have nice things. Resourceful and patience and labour thanks for the video.
Ever since I've found your channel I've been on the hunt for scrap wood and pallets. I live 5 mins from one of the biggest industrial estates in Europe (Wrexham). I've emailed a few places I've seen when delivering for work but I saw a place today where the pallets were just dumped and not stacked. I went into the place and asked about them and theyvsaid to take whatever I want and I can keep coming back. Absolute score! I think the smaller places who have to pay for removal are a better source than the big turnover places.
Good video Phill the thing's you can make with pallet wood it's endless I've used pallet wood in my workshop the shelving under my workbench and I got plenty of spare pallet wood That fence is well made you should be proud of what you have made Can't wait for the next video take care mate. Regard's from Wrexham
Thank you very much Shaun yea I really like collecting pallets and making something with them for free I find it very satisfying. Thanks for taking the time to leave such an encouraging comment it's much appreciated. 👍
Nice work! Although now I'm annoyed with myself because I had loads of old pallet wood a few years ago and ended up using most of it for firewood (safely!), and now I need to build a fence...
Good video, fence turned out well. Only thing I’m wondering is whether you should have left some expansion gaps between the boards? They are screwed in tight to each other and I wonder if they will bow after they soak in some moisture in the winter and expand? Nice job though.
Thanks. All I can say is, I've done the same on my own pallet fence and I haven't had any problems. They may look tight but there are small gaps. In winter these gaps disappear. It doesn't seem to cause a problem as long as you apply the boards dry.

Thank you very much Roy what a lovely comment. I had fun doing it with my dad especially because it hasn't rained for the last 2 weeks!

That is one beautiful fence mate. Just lovely!
Thank you very much!
Great job and idea! What type of paint did you use?
Thanks it was a water based fence stain. Cheap stuff.
Brilliant job! Starting mine soon.
Thanks!
Nice
@@BrusePerron thanks 👍🏻
Nice job Phil always a pleasure watching your videos
Thanks Gary I'm glad you like them 👍🏻
That looks great. May have to try this as need a fence at the back of my garden. Never thought of using pallets to make it. 👍
Thanks! If you can find some free pallets then I think it's worth the effort. Buying all the materials is expensive.
@@PhillWyattProjects I know where I can get plenty near where I live. Just need to sort out a vehicle to pick them up now 🙂
That's a great job.
Thanks!
An excellent job and a really great money saving idea, nice work Phill.

Thanks Michael 👍🏻 I'm struggling to get pallet wood at the moment actually as I need loads for making another fence.

Planning same idea, please help to tell what paint do you use. Thank you much.

@PhillWyattProjects thank you
Where can I find the tool list and supplies?
Hi, I don't have one although if there are any tools in the video you are interested in buying I can try to help direct you to the correct sites.
That looks amazing, you can come and do my fence
Thanks!

Would this secure a 70 lbs dog? Also what about termites?
I have no idea and we don't get termites in the UK so I cant advise sorry.
