I mean this with a deep love in my heart, the way you present your videos especially the first 20 seconds is exactly how every university lecture video ive had was like. Your content is great and strangely nostalgic because of this.
You sir are a great teacher. This is a very niche tropic I didn’t think I’d be interested in, yet here I am watching a third video of yours about spiders lol
This is such a cool series, thank you for sharing with the world. It’s really nice to know what species I have living around me just because it’s nice to know. My personal favourite common spider that I’ve seen is probably the cucumber spider (araniella curcurbitina). They’re a vibrant yellow or green orb weaver spider found fairly commonly near where I live. They’re around fingernail sized and it’s a joy to find them.
I've been bitten by 4 spiders already, so im wondering since they taste with their feet do they bite because we are tasty or was it to anchor itself but then again, the 1 i left alone and it walked over my arm was a jumping spider and it didn't need to anchor itself nor did i provoke it yet i got bit by it
I believe the one at 17:27 is Steatoda triangulosa, if that's the one you're referring to. I've seen hundreds of those in my area throughout the last year.

Loving the longer episodes! Great stuff!
I didn't know there are social spiders who live in colonies. That's very cool and also it makes my skin crawl.

The dosis makes the toxin or not?
And did you forget about the red widow (Latrodectus bishopi)?
Great video, but watching it feels like immersion therapy and I can't describe the heebie-jeebies I've got right now.😅
The spider on the egg sac is that seatoda nobilis?
