Here is my Unboxing and first look at the Lenovo ThinkPad T15g Gen 2. It has an 11th generation Intel i7 (11850H) CPU, 32GB of ram and an Nvidia RTX 3080.

hii today I can find this laptop for only 1700$ with i9 . But my big question is.. if I connect this laptop to an 240hz monitor, it will work at 240hz? Thank you
As an architect, I love my T15g Gen 1
This is much better than the P series and much more underrated
I've ordered Thinkpad T15g Gen 2 with Intel Core i7-11800H & 64GB RAM & 3080 last year in October. But I have not recieved my Laptop yet. It is pretty hard to describe my feeling currently. But I hope it worth my time.
My T560 with Nvidia 940mx is still feel truly amazing until today. It is great to know the successor still on the nearly same design
This laptop is ideal for game development.
cooling system is very poor. 100C is normal temperature for the CPU. Constant throttling, random freezes and hangs
My unit is on its way! i want to add 64gb ram, should i buy the same type or can i mix brands and types?

Thinkpad is about the ports and keyboard.
Looking at the internals, this looks like it's gunna run HOT.

P series doesn't have 3080 btw.
The P1 Gen 4 can have a 3080 in it

Can it run Adobe photoshop, premiere pro, after effects, illustrator etc smoothly

Isn't it a little late to be selling 11th gens? No way I'd buy this now.
T16 with 12th gen. and 16 : 10 screen will be announced already this month or next.

@@den15423 I just participate in well-known forums and read news on specialized IT resources. And then it will not sound like some secret. A Google search for "Thinkpad t16" has not been cancelled either. And it has also long been known that Lenovo always presents a new larger T-series in February and March.
@@Oleg__ I checked the info. T16 is AMD Ryzen 6700U powered without Nvidia GPU and weights 1.7kg + 130W PSU. I dont think it can compete current T15g gen 2
@@den15423 You're comparing things that haven't come out yet. And be careful with the information, on many sites it's still bullshit, not information. You don't deal with rumor information in such a straightforward manner. Also, you write as if the new series will only have one configuration. There will be a bunch of ThinkPads with a new screen, processor and graphics.
