    I think it’s safe to say neither car had any protection - based on the fact that the “lack” of water behaviour was the same on both cars 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I’m sorry mate but I don’t notice any protection on your paint? No water beating or sheeting imho 😳

    Thanks for this. Was about to buy one until I watched this video. Really wanted a contactless dry for my soft Lexus paint.. but this would take forever!

      That’s just because the paint doesn’t have any protection at all, you need to put a water beading agent or drying aid…

    Great demo. I use the GT version of this blower is awesome. I personally use it after a towel dry. It’s also great for alloys and tyres after brush/degreasing.

      Paul Dolden Details I agree completely. It’s something I need to use more I think to really understand the benefits

    Yeah, the Z did look like it wanted to hold on to the water but put that aside mate. If you're not happy with the machine, and from a reply of yours to another viewer, it sounds like you're not why not change machines. I've got a basic handheld Amazon model, branded Katsu, and it's extremely powerful. It will rip the glass out of the mirror housings and bend and snap plastic pieces in the engine bay if held too close.. All for the grand sum of £35. Far easier to walk around the car with too. Ironically, I fancied why you have......But not know more.

    I know of anouther blower product its called the leafblower 5000😆 joking aside, good review on this mate i have been looking into buying an air blower of some sort as it has often got me thinking when using a towel if towel drying can actually damage the paintwork over time🤔

    These blowers works best with ceramic coated cars or at least with a sealant on top. Drying a car without water beading and sheeting is far better with a towel

    Shop vac with the hose in the exhaust works just fine and cheaper.

  •  ปีที่แล้ว

    You could’ve gotten a leaf blower with cable for the same or better results at a fraction of the cost.

    Good thing I saw this video... it's not good for body at all, just good for tight spots like mirrors rims and grills.

      @Nick-ym2tf 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's great for body if you have a paint sealant or treatment. No water beading at all.

    I have a builders vacuum cleaner from Wickes cist £40 and has a blower output which does a comparative job to what you've just demo"d. I've only used it for "drying" the car once. Towels it is for me I'm afraid.

    Super pokazałeś jak to wygląda i teraz wiem że nie kupię tego bo to strata czasu dla hobbisty detalingu lepiej kupić mała dmuchawę by przedmuchać przy grillu klamkach i lusterka 👍

  • @thefairloyster

    I don't mean to be arsey but for a car thats protected, there was an awful lot if sheeting on your car before you used the blower. What protection do you have in the car?

    • @Zoppaz
      @Zoppaz 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. I would apply new coat of protection or change to a better product that actually beads.
      This is what i use on my car.

    You need to go in one motion . You literally brought the water back up on the second car

    The blower looked under power. How would it compare to a professional dog groomers blower/dryer.

    • @silksdetailing
      @silksdetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you take the time to do your research, most per dryers are 2000w where as this machine is 2800w. So in comparison being more powerful. A pet dryer also isn’t designed for long time periods of use so I would suggest purchasing a machine suited for its intended purpose but each to their own.

    • @tonyaltass30
      @tonyaltass30 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@silksdetailing I have done the research.
      The most relevant criteria is how much air is expelled.
      The ones I have seen simply blast the water from the dogs fir.
      The blower you have appears just to move the water.
      The Shernbao group of dryers give around 61,000 FPM with a wattage of 2600W
      The specs from Blo state around 43500 FPM . Assuming I am looking at the correct model.

    hello, I think you are using the machine wrong, I'm glad I didn't watch your video first, otherwise I definitely wouldn't have bought it.

    • @silksdetailing
      @silksdetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, I’m glad you think I’m using it wrong. It has on off point and blow. It’s not a complicated machine to use. Maybe when you buy one you can read the instructions and show me how to use it properly.
      Either way it’s generic crap and a rubbish machine

  • @dereklee8080
    @dereklee8080 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    OMG that seemed painfully slow and annoying, I would rather accept the limitations of these machines and use a drying towel on the panels and use these dryers for the alloy wheels, mirrors, emblems etc, this one for some reason seemed so underpowered compared to similar machines from other TH-cam channels
