An absolutely awesome bit of kit but it is expensive, ill leave a link to the MJJC site where it is approx £70, however I'm a realist and would always urge you shop around for the best deal or wait for a bank holiday where retailers always have promotions on.

From looking at there website it says spray prewash the spray snow foam on top leave then rinse
That’s what most people would do but when testing a product the Snowfoam needed to be shown on its own. It’s simply just a terrible range of products

When yo say 4:1 what do you mean. For every 2litres you put a shot of chemical in
Expensive bottles. I ordered one from Hydro then ordered one from Aliexpress. They are identical, apart from ali one costs 8$
@@martinporter6478 I recon the bottles are exactly the same just branded. They may not be tested as much in fairness by quality control.

Could I ask what foam you had in the cannon. And how much versus how much water. Really want to upgrade cannon and foam so I'm no wasting a ton of rubbish chemicals all the time. Thanks mate. 👍
Absolutely, this example is squid ink at 50ml to 450ml of water. Even with bilt hamber which well known for not producing good foam has a really nice consistency from this Lance. But I really rate the squid ink products

@@miller441mm no this was just froth and I was really surprised how well it cleaned. I’ve not tried many of squid ink products but alkafroth is meant to be better then froth so I expect good things from it.

That snow foam comparison really said everything it needed too Definitely needs work to be competitive with the market leaders. Loved the comic relief from flo maybe in future have her do a review. Also in future a less abrupt ending I thought It went to an advert 🤣 keep up the great work mate. FB

I’ve 2 cars if you need more to demo on. That snow was as you say pants. But a good contrast to show the difference.

Honestly wouldn't know from your videos your weren't a pro detailer. I find these videos so interesting even thought I don't even have a car to clean 😂 but for me your just as good as the rest of the content creators on here. Nice one Shane! Good to see you back up and running again. Having tried some of the Starbrite stuff I have nothing but positives for them. The Auto expert stuff doesn't look as capable unfortunately. But a very good honest review. I'm sure Holly and Starbrite will take the criticism well 👍👍👍
It’s a shame they didn’t perform as well as what I’ve seen the starbrite do. I’ve got the TFR and shampoo to have a play with and see if they are any better

Which brush are you referring too. If it’s the white tyre brush I’ve had that years and got it off another detailer. I’ve got 2 of them I think. But I don’t know where they came from

Hi, great video. Just a general question, the Facebook advert mentions throwing the pressure washer away and not needing it. Is this true? I don't understand how they can apply the pre and snow and then wipe it with a cloth. Surely you'd apply it with the applicator and then still need to pressure wash and dry after.
I guess you’re referring to the hand foaming sprayers?. In which case, yes you can apply a pre wash with one but always rinse off before the contact wash. I use a hand foamer to apply foam on the wheels as part of my wheel wash process. Personally I believe to get the most out of products and the best results you need the pressure from a pressure rinse. The marketing for these products is running, false claims and false information.
Very interested with your thoughts on this, thanks. I have seen the adverts and am keen to give this product a go too. In terms of "your set-up" - it doesn't appear (to me) that you are using a pressure washer to rinse off .. is it just a simple attachment you have on a normal garden hose (as it appears to give good pressure to the rinse stage) and would you recommend this? Many thanks, Ian
I’m using a pressure washer, kranzle k7 with short trigger attachment. The products in my opinion are mediocre at best and certainly not the best on the market as they claim. I won’t purchase again
Hi bud, i was a big detailer few years back even had own mobile business. But got out the game and havent really bothered since pre covid days. Been looking recently at gettinf back into it as hobbyist as now have nice car and bike but lookinf to keep budget down as wife would kill me if went as deep into rabbit hole as beforw 😂. Found your channel useful.. im still thinking proformance and budget then bilt hamber is prob a winner but i been out game while now so could be wrong
You can’t go wrong with bilt hamber, for price or for ability in the products. If I had to use one it would most likely be bilt hamber.
@@silksdetailing I reckon I be going back to them for re stock.. Im also debating some foam sprayers both for wheels and motorcycle detailing. I was torn between the ik pro and also the hydro that arounf on Facebook but now is it worth just cheap off brand one 🤔
@@stevenjackson9721 I’ve used hydro, products are poor. The foam sprayer I cannot comment on but I bought one off temu which is identical to the one hydro sell plus some other brands, now it may not of had as much testing as the ones the brands label up however for £5 I’ve cleaned many wheels purposely with the cheaper one. I also have the IK if you can stretch to an IK the foame is wetter and more even dispersed
@@silksdetailing that's very helpful to no as I was about to pull trigger on 2 of there foamer at £40.. I think I will get 1 ik pro for main snow.and 2 of off brand ones for pre and wheels. Much appreciated got new sub👍
@@stevenjackson9721 thank you much appreciated. I use the cheaper one purely to foam the wheels for a safer clean but then any body work related cleaning I use the IK. Happy to help anyway I can 👌🏻
What shampoo or even snow foam would recommend to help lift of stone dust?
Dust?? Any form of Snowfoam will remove dust however if it’s concrete dust that’s another ball game. Water could activate the dust My go to at the moment, bilthamber, mirror image car care, infinity wax power foam, squid ink
@silksdetailing it's just from working in a quarry, go no access to water so I'll be getting the ryobi cordless pressure washer with the 2litre bottle attachment so a good snow foam plus that should remove the dust with ease
@@ryancook6562 I’ve never used a cordless pressure washer but in principle with a good Snowfoam soak maybe over some citrus for added bite I would say would remove the dust with ease

I am the proud owner of the Dupray steamer for a couple of years now and love it . When it became clogged from calcium buildup , they replaced it.
