Puddin I just wanted to say a buddy of mine showed me your channel around February of this year. YOU were the one who inspired me to go start wrenching on my 81 stepside and get it going, now as of spring I will have it LS swapped and will be my daily driver as of next spring/summer. I just wanted to say I appreciate you man.

Good job and good deal on the IH, Puddin. Those old IH’s are built like tractors. The older ones were hard to beat a dent in the fender with a hammer. Clutches, pressure plates, brake drums and shoes are heavier built than most trucks that age. It’s a keeper.
A new PFS is one of the better ways to crawl out of hurricane mode. ✌️

Blown away that this engine managed to stay this strong sounding after all these years especially in the state it was in!! I’m sure you already did, but please hang onto that propane contraption. Would actually be kick ass to see that function again as well, but gotta be pretty rare parts regardless.

I like the front of these trucks, we only got the 6 cylinders here in Australia, those twin headlights got used on a lot of customised cars.
When you finally get around to selling your merchandise internationally, your gonna have to get a shed the size of your new shop to hold it all, your family will be busy,busy,busy!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great change up. That is a low pressure propane or natural gas setup. Yes would run on either. That unit on top of the carb would have a venturi which would control the amount of vacuum goes to that century demand regulator. Theres a flapper in there which uses that vacuum to allow propane to flow. The input to that century regulator would have to come in at a certain pressure stamped on the housing. Its low pressure so it will be a fraction of one psi. Got a 1972 wisconsin gen running a smaller version of the same thing. Propane or NG will give you less power than gasoline but... Propane never goes bad so don't have to worry about it sitting. If you want to use it just make sure the rubber flapper in there is good and get your pressure right. If right it won't feed any propane when shut off but will pull propane when cranking over.

In case you wanted to know the thing that was on top of the carb was called the mixer (think like a carb for propane) the thing on the fender is called a atomizer (turns the liquid propane (aka lpg) into a gas) propane systems are simple and don't really fail as long as they are sealed and all the gaskets are in good shape
