He gave me a hand knitted sweater with ethnic design from their village costing probably 20 times more than what I gave him.

4 years ago i self drove a tuk tuk around sri lanka with my partner in the back navigating.. such a great way to travel and lots of funny moments being flagged as a taxi then giving the surprised locals a free ride up the road..
