Harry just heard about the earthquake in Indonesia. You are currently there right? Hope you're okay. Anyway, that was def. an extreme heart-pumping ride! Glad you made it safely down. I hope you can also do the Mt. Pinatubo ATV adventure, and the crater hike. The views are a bit similar to that because of the ash layer from the Pinatubo eruption in 1991 except the surrounding mountains are lush green. And the crater lake is insanely beautiful. Pakistan has some of the vast deserts in Sindh province. look up "Thar desert", then there is "Cholistan". The one you are visiting is amazing though The Cold Desert, also known as the Katpana Desert or Biama Nakpo which is 2,226 metres (7,303 ft) above sea level...
