Would love your thoughts on the Intro :) I really tried hard to portray the inner feeling of moving from the chaos of the city and into the deep peace of nature.
I did an 11 day trek through the cloud forest up to Annapurna Base Camp back in 1999 - this fabulous video brought it all back. You touched every memory base, including the bottles of coke that get progressively more expensive, and the leeches! But mostly, of course, the fabulous scenery and atmosphere. Great job.
As well made as this video really is you just cant se the true beauty of the ABC trek through a camera. Now 23 years later it is still my favorit moment in life
One of the best trekking videos I've seen in a while! The transitions were absolutely amazing and seamlessly captured the essence of the journey. You really brought the adventure to life, showcasing the stunning landscapes and thrilling moments perfectly. Truly amazing work!
yess so happy to see that your travel edit videos are back and better than ever! Nepal is one of my dream destinations and I love how you portraited it and showed the nature and the peace of all of it. Looks like you really had a great time! Keep the good work and amazing traveling up!
My husband and I went up to Anapurna base camp in the early '80s. The leeches I remember. They didn't have coke, but a lemon drink called Lemu. There were lots of little horse or donkey trains on the trail bringing supplies into the mountains. The name of the fishtail mountain is Machapuchare. The trail up that sort of wide valley to the base camp looked familiar. The sign is different, but it's been 40 years. There weren't so many buildings, either. We only stayed a few hours. We took shelter in the Bam Boo Hotel, which had basket weave walls and a thatched roof. It absorbed the sunlight and was nice and warm inside. We had tea and a little food there. We didn't have a dance session but there was definitely a celebratory mood. Thanks for the video. It was nice to see the place after so long.
Being a nepalese citizen the way you guys presented tis video man it feel awesome to have you guys here guess our country’s natural calamities and other natural beauties attract the more of you.
Yeah, the most cinematic video I’ve ever witnessed about Nepal Visit. Thank You from my inner heart. The views are insane, and that doggo is the spirit of Nature of Annapurna, the consort of “Kaal Bhairav” the God of Death and Time, protecting you guys through the entire journey. Big appreciation Mark for letting the world know about our country “Nepal”. Majestic video Mark, “Majestic”.
Nice video. Missed the names of the villages and when i did this in the 90s we stopped at tatapani where they had hot springs. Brings back amazing memories
feels better to see my country more clearly when I’m abroad & I’m definitely going here after I return thanks for everything you did, you r amazing man! love the video🤩
Honestly this is one of the best vlog I Have ever seen in my life and that intro come on I have no words and even though I'm Nepali, it's like I'm watching different world 🌎 thanks a million to present our beautiful country to the whole world in a unique and beautiful way 🇳🇵❤️ can't wait to see next vlog and you deserve my like and subscribe 👍
Ahh, ABC, loved that trek, thanks for your video, happy memories for me. Beautiful people, and country, if you have never been, a must on your checklist.
Man the intro just gave me goosebumps. Never had so much of goosebumps while watching a video. It reflected not only the good aspect of Nepal but the actual reality. It reflected the busyness, the culture, the tranquility within the busyness, the happiness in the freedom, the mismanagement, the population in Kathmandu, and finally the beautiful mountains. The transitions and the music made the intro much better. I lived a decent amount of my life in Nepal and never knew that my country had so much beauty in it probably because I never went anywhere outside of Kathmandu valley. Overall, this video is too good and I believe deserves more views. Jay Nepal. Jay Chandra Surya.
Excellent video Mark. I did the same few years back when very low cloud stopped any flights on the EBC trek, ABC was our alternative. You didn't mention the name of your overnight stops, just wanted to compare. Never mind it brought back memories, especially our bumping into Richard Gere at the village of Himalaya. He was over there on some charity project. I am thinking of repeating ABC next year, cheers.
Making such amazing videos drains out so much energy specially when the hike itself is very challenging. I would really love to hear what drives you for doing whatever you are doing. Really appreciate this masterpiece.
You should try the Island Peak trek and climb. Join me next year at the end of April . Your video brought back some sweet memories. I was in Nepal this year ,begining 9f April and I went EBC and Island Peak. Due to a severe calories intake I was burning more than I was bringing in and this lead to some serious weight loss and my blood sugar at high camp was 54 ( super low) . I am going back next year just to "finish" the trip . Stay safe and have fun all the way
You should name the villages as you go. I have been to Nepal 4 times including Annapurna base camp and circuit also Mt Everest track and 3 passes treck.
Would love your thoughts on the Intro :)
