If I lived in London, I'd probably check it out but I went to the V&A exhibition years ago (awesome) and that kind of thing is more appealing to me than just selling merchandise. Nice tour of the shop!
I'm a huge Bowie fan (from Italy) but to me, what I see in this video is just an exhibition of merch (not cheap, I believe) and a rip off of money. Culture, Music, Art, all the things that Bowie means to and for us, are not there
I'm not sure about the idea of a pop-up store, and it's sad he's being monetized after his death. It seems a bit disrespectful to him and his legacy? Hopefully, it isn't terribly overpriced. I really appreciate the video. Thank you very much!
I would go there just to listen to the everyday playlist. It's a cool place and idea, but on one side it makes me sad that they made a franchise out of a dead artist. I mean, should we expect something like that for most superstars of music history?
It just never occurred to me until just now. And I purchased The Rise and Fall when it was originally released. What the hell is that telephone booth from England doing in Key West ? I always thought it was Key West Florida ??? Have I been a stupid moron all these years ? And I mean many more that just "Five Years"..
It was very expensive, TEE shirt £30!!! Felt a bit ...clinical? I was bit underwhelmed. But seeing the place where Bowie shot the cover for Ziggy was cool!
Not sure why you would have this shop in London apart from a chance to make money !! It’s over priced and tacky the sound system from a seedy downstairs basement dark with black curtains palled around is awful.
Its a rip off how much more money does the estate want. The 50th anniversary of Ziggy stardust will be the largest rip off, it will be released on multiple coloured records the die hards will pay. Not for me, I've stopped collecting I've got everything he ever recorded
