Oh that voice of Jimmy is sublime, and when he smiles in this clip, it melts my heart. He has been a favourite artist of mine for so long. Very sad song when you listen to the lyrics 💔 His son David Campbell looks like him in this clip. He is a morning TV host but can sing too.
Another Don Walker masterpiece! Jimmy looks so slick here with his suit and his hands in his pockets! Thanks for sticking with Cold Chisel despite your hassles with the blockers! Can you splash a big COPYRIGHT over the video and try to re-upload? I am still glad you got to listen to When the War is Over even if we didn’t get to see you react!! ❤️
You keep it real and that's what I like. It's so cool that there are reaction channels. You get to hear great music that's been around for decades but it's new to you. And you discover music that you can relate to or you just dig the sound. Thanks heaps. Powderfinger are a great Australian band with Bernard Fanning on lead vocals. He is an amazing song writer. He went solo and just nailed it. "Love your way" is a song I'd like to see you react to. Again thanks! 👍🇦🇺
Great song about taking a girl to get an abortion. Respectful handling of o sensitive topic. PS subscribed so I know when the other 2 videos reappear. PPS good luck helping out your neighbors👍
Jimmy Barnes is Australian Rock Royalty first with his band Cold Chisel then a solo career that is still going check out Jimmy Barnes and Joe Banommossa STONE COLD
Hey man how's it going? You're reactions are totally Awesome don't tone it down just keep going off tap we all love it. I've got a request for you it's not Cold Chisel but it is Jimmy Barnes but he isn't alone this one is a duet with the great Tina Turner the song is Simply the Best Jimmy Barnes and Tina Turner.
And try some Skyhooks 🙂 Aussie version of kiss lol try you just like me cause I'm good in bed, women in uniform, or if you dare try the single Smut 🤣 lol I doubt it would have ever made it on US radio in the 70's
His voice, before frankly he abused it by over-singing while drunk in god knows how many performances, was spectacularly good. Immediately recognisable, which, all other things being equal, can be the difference between successful vs having a great voice most will never hear.** Despite what people think (usually from Karaoke), alcohol is really BAD for your voice. Singing while drinking a lot is TERRIBLE for it. Much of his voice's deterioration is from the alcohol alone. Not generally, although that's of course not a good thing, but specifically WHILE performing for long stretches. Even later it retained some of the magic, but it didn't age ANYWHERE near as well as it could have had he taken better care of it. Then again, self-care wasn't exactly in his repertoire, LOL. Cheers **as a fun aside, Roy Orbison said words to the effect of "I wasn't sure my voice was especially good, but I knew it was a voice people could recognise and tend to remember". Bit of an understatement. ;-D

This came out when I was 12 years old, I’m now 55. I’ve been listening to Cold Chisel for a long time!
They were such young spunks back then. But wow they could pump out some of the best music. And still 🔥today.
This was the song that broke them on the national stage

Amazing,
These guys are such beauties!
Off East 1980 one of their best albums
You have do wild thing from chisel 83 ! It will blow your mind 😂
Jimmy joined the band when he was only 16 and a real wild child. I think he was 18 when they brought this song out.
Jimmy opens his mouth and throat so wide on those vowels, that all that power is coming straight from his diaphragm. 🙂
You will LOVE 'Good Times' with Jimmy and INXS......
Great song about taking a girl to get an abortion. Respectful handling of o sensitive topic. PS subscribed so I know when the other 2 videos reappear. PPS good luck helping out your neighbors👍
Thank you Andy,

Yeessss. The version from 15 Dec 1983 when he wears a red shirt is the best 💕

@@Shakes-P should give them a try man. Will get lots of Aussie viewers
@@Shakes-P it wouldn't have got past your censors 🤣
This song was banned in many media outlets.. it's actually about having an abortion. But anyway, I love it as a song.

Don walker!!
I can hear the Rod Stewart voice similarities. Prefer Jimmy though 🤣
Same 😂🤣
Yes your wrong. John Krainski is not hot, Jimmy was hot and sexy.❤️🔥🎵🎼🇦🇺
