I dig the black bumper too! At the risk of sounding like a "whiner", using weld thru primer would give some protection between your welded panels. Though when I started my 65 Fastback job, in January of 2021, I didn't know any better myself. As Mr Spock says on Star Trek, "We learn by doing" ! Continue to get after it. God bless and keep em coming...
Good job, but you may want to use weld thru primer and/or paint on the bare metal areas that you are covering up with the new panel, so they don't rust, just my 2 cents, cheers
I understand - been crawling on the garage floor for the better part of 25 years. No thanks! The cart has 4x4 posts with a 2x4 frame on locking casters. Cheap & effective.
This looks awesome. I dig the black bumper!
Thanks! The car is going to be ivy green, I'm thinking about keeping the tail panel and bumper black for a bit of "pop".
@Slow in Fast out oh ya that sounds awesome! Good luck, keep the camera rolling.

Appreciate the feedback! This is definitely a learning process and I'll take all the help I can get; I need it! 😂
Looking good, keep up the good work!
Thanks!

Great feedback, thanks!
How did you build the cart the body is sitting on? Working on a '66 coupe and being on the ground... uh... sucks 😅

May I ask what settings were you using to not blow holes in the sheet metal.
If memory serves I had it somewhere around B 2.5 on my Lincoln. Should have probably used the A setting but it doesn’t work.
