Card Games | How To Play FOUR KINGS

My family have played this game for decades. Usually we play it with 2p or 5p pieces and it is just for fun.
How to play Four Kings
Remove the four Kings from the deck (the jokers are not needed)
Place the four Kings in the middle of the players.
Each player to put a coin/counter/stick on a card and another in the middle
Shuffle and deal out the cards for each player with an extra (dummy hand) for a chosen player to decide if they want it or not (once the dummy is looked at the main hand can not be re-selected)
First player (the one with the dummy) goes first selecting the lowest card black or red... the suit colour will then always alternate between goes.
The suit run is called out by players in ascending order until the run is broken or the Queen is called.
If the queen is called then the player wins what is on the King of the same suit.
When the player plays their last card they must say OUT. They collect what is in the middle between the Kings, the pot.
THINGS THAT HAPPEN
As the runs of suits has to change, if the player can't EG
"six & seven of Clubs....." No following card from the other players (the run breaks but the same player has no Hearts or Diamonds)
The player will have to pass to the next player by saying "No Red"
Now the next player plays their lowest red suit card... if they can't they also say "no red" to the next player.
STUCK
If the colour of the suit can not be changed as all players have "no red" or "no black" then the pot remains as nobody has won and the cards are shuffled and dealt again.

We play it diff. We put a counter on every card plus middle. We also use 2 pack of cards... out of 1st pack is just kings then we use a FULL set and also we do it so dealer gets 2 hands and picks a good or dead hand. ( we do look at both hands) We have in past used money as well, but when for fun we use counters.

We use to play a variation of this but the 4 cards in the middle were face down. After a winner was crowned the cards flipped over and whoever played the card above the one on the table won the money on that card. If nobody did and it was in the dummy hand the money on that card rolled over

@@djs06 you deal the full deck of cards between all players. Whoever has the 7 of hearts goes first they play that card. The next player can either play the 8 or 6 of hearts or any 7. First person to clear their hand wins
