That was a "Phenomenal" tutorial and explanation of 3 card which I will be playing for the first time in a long long time this evening. Thank you so much 🙂
I work for a company that provides casino themed entertainment (party's, fundraisers, etc). No real money. I was taught by the company, card poker. But, I had questions they couldn't answer. After months of looking up and various videos , yours was the best...
@@matthewfoley9522 haha, it did actually. I walked out with an extra 120$ roughly so it’s a win in my books. Haven’t played much since then cuz I only go maybe once a month but I’ve been enjoying it.
I thought the ante wins even money. In the second example, the ante won bonus money. Do you win bonus money ONLY when the dealer doesnt qualify? Is the amount contingent on the strength of hand?
Your play bet pushes (don't lose it) Your ante gets paid even money (kinda like, thank you for coming, but we're not playing, here's gas money) Lose the pair plus bet
No. It’s a 10, j, q. So it’s a straight. Pairs plus means a pair or higher. A straight is higher than a pair, so it qualifies for a payout. And the payout is actually better for a straight than it is for a pair.
The Pair Plus pays for a pair or better. 3 cards in a row (straight), 3 same suite (flush)...It doesn't matter what the dealer has, you get paid, win or lose.
Going to Vegas in just over a week, hoping to get some Christmas money! Too bad I have no idea how to gamble. Just got good deal on trip and wanted to go somewhere I have not been and want to see canyon and dam mostly
They won because the bet is "Pairs plus" meaning if you put your bet on that top circle, you need AT LEAST a pair. This hand had a flush which pays out much better.
Why do some local casino just don’t have regular poker . I guess three cars poker is less expensive than Texas hold ‘em. Which do you all prefer if you had to pick which game to play?
So although the pair plus is a side bet, you still forfeit the bet even if you were to fold (assuming someone looked at cards and had a pair or better but still selected to fold)
Isn't there another 3 card poker game where you can bet on like a "6 bonus" where you place a bet to see if you get a 5 combination card with your hand and the dealer's hand?
3 card is a really progressive game to play that pays well if you hit a nice streak The bonuses can be very handsome if your lucky enough to get sonething like a straight flush Super rare but not impossible
You're missing the very important part, That is when the Dealer is not qualified then all the Players still get paid even money on "Ante" no matter what.🤜
Even though you’re dependent on the dealer to know the rules, dealers do make mistakes. There’s a lot of rules and a lot of pay tables so it’s best to practice and know your shit before you hit a casino
Ante = do you want cards. Yes or no. Play = are you going to play? Yes? Pay the Ante. If not, you fold and lose your bet. Pair plus = regardless if you win, fold, or lose, you will still be paid this if you get a pair or better.
On the second round of hands the player had three 777 you said anti pays 4-1 why did you pay that anti 25 dollars it was a 5 dollar bet...Is should of been paid 20 bucks..Am, i missing something...
The dealer is always in control and the point of the game is for you to lose, everything is rigged against you and everything you play is a game of chance, don't gamble and don't go to casino's
Good lord how much more help do you need? The person who gets dealt the cards looks at their hand and decides if they have a chance. Don't go to vegas any time soon.
No, ante bonus always gets paid (at least with official rules). Even if your hand loses to the dealer (like if you have a straight and dealer has 3 of a kind), you lose the ante, but get the ante bonus.
This tutorial was extremely detailed, and yet simple to understand. Thanks so much making this lesson so easy and fun to watch.

Omg! The best explanation so far. Thank you🥰
Thank you for that... If I could leave a tip I would, You have put me straight ready for my cruise in April
Thank you for your kind words. I hope you enjoyed playing.
Simple & straight up. Thank you! 👍
That 3 of a kind would've been nice in the casino!! Great video!
Thank you very much for teaching how to play three card Poker.
It is very useful for the students at training sclass.
Gonna try some 3 card poker at the casino tomorrow, hopefully all goes well, thank you. Been playing roulette and blackjack only.
Did it go well

Very detailed and easy to understand, thank you so much!
Ok so if dealer dosent qualify and you dont have a pair, do you loose everything but the push?
Your play bet pushes (don't lose it)
Your ante gets paid even money (kinda like, thank you for coming, but we're not playing, here's gas money)
Lose the pair plus bet
Do you have to bet the pair plus?
Wait i have a question lol in the second example, 3rd set of cards, the pair plus was won? So does the jack and 10 count as a pair or something?
the queen and jack were both hearts, so they're the pair
No. It’s a 10, j, q. So it’s a straight. Pairs plus means a pair or higher. A straight is higher than a pair, so it qualifies for a payout. And the payout is actually better for a straight than it is for a pair.
@@susanna4136 ??? stop trying to explain when you dont have any idea what youre saying.
@@crywolf69 No for real. That person is gonna make someone go broke.
So the person who got the straight at the end still gets the pair bonus? What was the pair? The suit of the cards?
The Pair Plus pays for a pair or better. 3 cards in a row (straight), 3 same suite (flush)...It doesn't matter what the dealer has, you get paid, win or lose.
Does the pair plus bonus still get paid to you if you lose the hand? Like it does in Ultimate Texas Holdem!
Yes, the Pair Plus gets paid if you have a pair or better, regardless of the dealer's hand (win, lose or tie)
Going to Vegas in just over a week, hoping to get some Christmas money! Too bad I have no idea how to gamble. Just got good deal on trip and wanted to go somewhere I have not been and want to see canyon and dam mostly
this was a really great video. i actually feel like i have at least some knowledge to give it a try. thank you for the great video
Fantastic instructional video. Learnt stacks! Thanks for sharing!
Way informative thanks. Got it, now I can play this game next time.
I thought you were supposed to make an anti-bet prior to side bets. Just going based off of what Blackhawk casinos here in Colorado do.
Is the pair plus bet the same as the table minimum or can you put as little as you like on that bet?
Table min
What if the dealer does not qualify but all you have is a jack high
Why did the ante pay 5 to 1? Or was the ante a win when you don’t qualify AND it got a 4 to 1 bonus?
thinking the same thing
not sure why first hand won the pairs bet i didnt see apair. what am i missing.thx
They won because the bet is "Pairs plus" meaning if you put your bet on that top circle, you need AT LEAST a pair. This hand had a flush which pays out much better.
Wait, on the first set I thought Flush payout isn't 1:1 and that it should be something a lot higher?
Why do some local casino just don’t have regular poker . I guess three cars poker is less expensive than Texas hold ‘em. Which do you all prefer if you had to pick which game to play?
The casino won't make profit off it.
Casinos do take a rake in Texas hold ‘em. I’d imagine it’s just too slow of rake since the blinds are small and the game is relatively slow
So although the pair plus is a side bet, you still forfeit the bet even if you were to fold (assuming someone looked at cards and had a pair or better but still selected to fold)
Yes if you fold you lose it.
So is there 3 card poker in casinos???
Yes
Thanks a bunch

Great explanation I'm ready for Vegas 🎰
Great instructions 💯
On the first hand the second player had a pair of queens, but you said they lost the pair plus bet??? How does that make any sense. 😂
great video! What table is that (like who makes it)?
ur mom
ur mum
ur mum
Terrific video. Very clearly explained.
Dealer also gets 5 cards last I recall and can use 4 cards?
wrong game
It’s called 3 card poker for a reason dummy
That's a casino special at some places
it have a fold or always bit ?
What 6 card pay play what should be there
Very helpful thank you!
@ 3 mins there is a pair of 8's.. is that not a win on pair plus??
Thank you!! A wonderful video
really good explanation
you mentioned in the beginning if the player wants to play it. You never explained that scenario.
You're missing the very important part,
That is when the Dealer is not qualified then all the Players still get paid even money on "Ante" no matter what.🤜
Im learning to play this
Thank you for the teaching

Am I crazy or a winning strategy is just playing ante?
No.. You need to play those bonus bet.
Great job!
This lady can be my dealer any time.
Never play the Pair Plus. The odds of getting a pair are 17% and you will lose over time.
good maths buddy
Agree, sucker bet
Absolutely incorrect. The house edge is 7.72% nowhere near the bullshit you're projecting.
The odds of you getting a pair is not the same as the house edge. Stg some of you didn’t finish middle school
Im ready to rock and roll 🎸. Let’s go to casino 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
This game needs to be brought to MyVegas
Great video
Never explained how player decides to play the hand or not.
Dealer only plays if he has a Queen or higher
They look at their hand and decide if it’s good and want to continue. If you do want to continue you place a bet on the “play” spot.
Player should only play Q 6 4 or better.
Good
Mashallah
So wtf is the ante?
Ante = do you want cards. Yes or no.
Play = are you going to play? Yes? Pay the Ante. If not, you fold and lose your bet.
Pair plus = regardless if you win, fold, or lose, you will still be paid this if you get a pair or better.
Thank you!
Pretty cool game
So helpfull🥰
On the second round of hands the player had three 777 you said anti pays 4-1 why did you pay that anti 25 dollars it was a 5 dollar bet...Is should of been paid 20 bucks..Am, i missing something...
it’s a BONUS pay. So 5 dollars from winning and 20 bonus dollars for three of a kind.
so as i understand u just gotta have better cards then dealer
Thankyou good demo
hi.. can someone explain to me about lucky 3 and lucky 6? thanks
No lol
@@drkystapos4134 LMAOOOOOOOO STOP
To anybody gullible. NEVER play at a casino if you don’t know hand rankings. The dealer will teach you but while stealing your money
I’m here because of the movie Rounders
Tks!
Thanks ma’am.
It’s pair plus not pairs plus. Also where is the 6 card bonus bet place on this table?
Thx
So the dealer handles all the chips all the time ? (WTF)
The dealer handles all the cards all the time ? (WTF)

Didn’t show at any point how you loose witch is most important lol
Obviously when the dealer’s hand wins yours, not rocket science mate
The card is easy. The betting is hard.
Not enough of a help. No explanation for folds(?).
Good lord how much more help do you need? The person who gets dealt the cards looks at their hand and decides if they have a chance. Don't go to vegas any time soon.
@@mikeberg5003 Now ya tell me! Just home from Vegas - $1500 richer than when I left. 😂🤣😂

Nice! I’m all set to start loosing money 😂
I never heard of "dealer can't play without a queen high"?
Are you deaf?
@@csisco7727 I'll destroy you homie
No thanks. Not touching this game. Dealer gets delt a bad hand and gets bailed out? I'm gonna take a wild guess and say the opposite isn't true. Pass.
This is incorrect!!!! ante bonus not paid when dealer doesnt qualify!
No, ante bonus always gets paid (at least with official rules). Even if your hand loses to the dealer (like if you have a straight and dealer has 3 of a kind), you lose the ante, but get the ante bonus.
