we didn't expect our van floor to be this bad :( | ep 18 | newbie van build

Well as like most (just kidding, ALL) stages of this van build so far it's been worse than we initially thought - not only have we got rusted holes (in our roof, floor and sides - we're seriously getting it from all angles here 😭) we have a floor now FULL of holes to fill...
In this episode we start the clean up of the floor - we had no choice but to rip up the old flooring which was rotted and the screws had gone through the floor, through the batons into the outside world! So it's operation fill Sunny Jims holes (oioi) and get her prepped for a brand new floor (eventually)
Oh yeah and it wouldn't be a true ORTN episode without our side quests - Otis has a chat full of gratitude while SJ cries and moans about the painted sleeping pod.
What we've got to remember is that we're newbs! And this van isn't going to look perfect but we are going to give her everything we've got! And try and have fun along the way .... 😬

Looking good guys :) When I painted my storage box for the back of my van I tried to use even strokes across the box from top to bottom and then worked my way back up. Sorry if that's obvious but worked for me to get and even coat. 👍

Who ever put that old floor in what a fool a 5 year old could done better its a good job you've took the van you mint be new to this but you have done a better job 😊
