Just to have a full scale model of the Millennium Falcon inside and out running electricity running water pretty much turn it into a house and put it out in the middle of a desert that would be awesome
That would be awesome... not only to live in the millennium falcon, but it would also pay for itself since they could sell their boring normal house afterwards. Fun and efficient!

I was just a boy when the first Star Wars came out. I had always been a sci-fi nut (Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, etc) but when this hit me, it hit hard. I can still remember leaving the theater and starring out the window of my dad's Country Squire station wagon (I always sat in the little fold out seat in the back) and my little mind trying to process what I had just seen. For that Christmas my parents got me a Star Wars book that was like an encyclopedia. It had all the drawings and cutaways and pictures and it had all the vehicles including the Death Star with all the races and maps of the Star Wars universe. It was the best present I had ever got. I would have flipped my lid at this mockup. Big time!
On November 3rd an actual floor piece of the Falcon was sold at auction. Winning bid unknown, but its value was estimated between 8000-12000....man i wanted it so bad!
Imagine a full size 'spaceport' done up like Mos Eisly with the hangars, ships, and surrounding structures done as a place to visit. that would be a great place to visit.
In the story it said they had people helping them. This is great. If they can flesh it out in autocad with specific dementions. This could be a community build.
This is what called "passion driven". This should have set designers jaws' dropping. I only wish the movies had shown more of the inside of the falcon besides under the floors. Still those seats appear more comfy than my prius'.
I was thinking the same exact thing, that would be incredible. They had a mock up one when they filmed The Force Awakens, you can see it in the behind the scenes documentaries for the movie.
I'd much rather spend 60k on building a falcon cockpit than just walking into a dealership and buying a car. There's a ton of experience, camaraderie, and in the end you have something that no other middle age dude has, and that you could probably sell for far above the cost to make it.
Can imagine in the very distant future when mankind has mastered space travel , someone will build a real functioning Falcon ...much the same way as back to the future and the delorean

How about we all come together to buy a huge chunk of land, build a replica of Mos Eisley Space Port, take this cockpit there, and build the rest of the ship!
Very well done sirs! All you really need now is to install a large projection-screen in front of the cockpit, then hook it up to a gaming system . Star Wars first-person space battles would be fantastic in this. You could charge admission!!
