I went from the 13 to the 16, and couldn’t be happier. I got a higher brightness screen, bigger battery, better cameras (the photos, especially in low light, are absolutely bonkers), double the storage (my 16 is 256 GB, while the my old 13 had 128), double the RAM (the RAM management is so much better) and much better SoC, while being lighter and more comfortable to hold and use.
I’ve got the 13 , my son got the 16 , obviously I had a play with the 16 ….. it is not as we stand worth upgrading , however I’m in the UK and AI not arrived yet , that may or not make a difference ….. I’ll stick with the 13 for another year
I’m not upgrading from 13 to 16 . 60hz is a deal breaker and I respect Nick for always highlighting that. iPhone 16 is a great phone but 60hz is a deal breaker. I get 120hz phone or I sat with my iPhone 13 . Apple intelligence needs a year to be a thing you can rely on . I’m waiting for iPhone 17 if not seduced to get one of the pro models of 16
hi nick, what about making battery tests ? I would love to see how both device perform, especially iphone 15 which i wanna buy, and include cellular use maybe idk thats my suggestion :)

I’m still on iPhone 11 had it a few years now and considering getting the 13, 5g, Oled and double the storage would make the 13 a decent upgrade from the 11. Just don’t see the 16 that appealing.
@@SecretName019 when ? The xr is already 6 years old and the 14 is 2 years old so when you do upgrade your gona be upgraded from a 7 year old phone to a 3 year old phone ? That’s halfway through its lifetime. Just wait till the 17 and keep it 8 years before upgrading if you really want

So ima do my plan of waiting for the new phone looking at the specs and video of Jerryrigeverything tear down it and make a decision if it’s worth the upgrade if not I’ll wait another year and do the cycle again until it’s worth the upgrades or my phone stops receiving updates and I upgrade regardless if the technology upgrade isn’t worth it

Apple really hasn’t innovated much in the last 7 years or so, perhaps the 17 will be better, I guess we’ll have to wait and see!

16 and 16 Pro have almost the same battery life. The difference is just a few minutes more. Nearly 2-4%.
