    Sounds really good man! I'd be really interested to hear how it sounds compared to the Two-Rock CRS. Would love to hear your thoughts on them as well!

    • @argbluesman
      @argbluesman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      metart93 the classic reverb signature is a completely different amp. First of all the CRS is a single channel mostly clean amp. The OTS is a dual channel amp. It’s clean channel is pretty blackface while the CRS is much more refined and tweak-able.

    Brilliant video and playing dude , how would you compare the ceritone to the two rock , i know there different amps but the price difference is staggering 🥴 between the two . Best Bruce

      @argbluesman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I imagine you are asking about this one and the two rock ts1 right? They are both amazing. Yes the price difference is huge but you know how things made in USA are quite expensive. Plus the ts1 had nos parts. The Ceriatone is absolutely outstanding man.

    that is a Fender Stratocaster Caligula? Fantastic. And the Strymon Brigadeer, the only delay I can tolerate

    • @argbluesman
      @argbluesman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sorry, what do you mean? Caligula? What is that?
      I’m also not using a Strymon brigadier here…
      During the first seconds of the video there’s text with this whole chain and exact gear I’m using.

    @Federico S. Kajganić With your OTS (and your JM50), I think I saw somewhere that you mentioned that you don't use the effects loop. How do the clean channel and the overdrive channel in the OTS take pedals? How are you using it, particularly with the overdrive channel?

    • @argbluesman
      @argbluesman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The clean channel is very blackface. As you can hear in this video the overdrive pedal on a clean OTS sounds pretty cool. I don’t use pedals when the amp’s overdrive is engaged. It makes no sense to me, it is already perfect...

    • @craighensley2750
      @craighensley2750 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@argbluesman Agree, that makes sense to me on the overdrive channel. I might use a boost pedal on that channel, but that would be all. Love the tones and the playing man. Sounds phenomenal.
      I've been e-mailing Nik about the OTS 50. Can't wait to get my paws on one.

    • @argbluesman
      @argbluesman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@craighensley2750 absolutely. A clean boost or just the amp’s bid boost work amazing.
      Thanks man! Do get one. Nik makes outstanding amps. I have a Welagen overdrive special on order and can’t wait to compare them... I’m scared I must say.

    How works the loop, , Do you use a pedalboard ? and/or it needs a buffer?

    • @argbluesman
      @argbluesman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      J Ber the loop is good but you need a dumblelator for it to work optimally.

    • @Jbervel
      @Jbervel 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@argbluesman like a Ceriatone Klein-Ulator?

    • @argbluesman
      @argbluesman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      J Ber yes. Or a C-Lator as well.

  • @Callsigntitan
    @Callsigntitan 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Have you ever tried de Ceriatone 50 Sss? If yes what’s the major difference?!

    • @argbluesman
      @argbluesman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t but I’m waiting for my JM50 which is derived from the sss. Two different amps with the ots. The ots is a two channel amp with a clean and an overdrive channel. The sss is just a massive clean amp mostly. Think of SRV and also John Mayer.

      Ya, super clean at very loud volumes. Think Yankee Stadium with the 100 watt. Lol.

    Now I have a doubt...it’s your fingers that make the difference?? 🤘👌
    well actually it sound really nice!!! maybe more compressed with respect to your two rock but anyway...for a third off the price...thanks a lot!!!

    • @argbluesman
      @argbluesman  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha well yes I think every guitar player sounds “like himself” with whatever setup, more or less you know. Yes maybe a bit more compressed. But it’s awesome!

    • @ulmestrat
      @ulmestrat 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it's " your fingers " , but my amp (C OTS 50 + Fender Reverb Unit ) sounds almost the same ?
