Thank you so much for being so open with your tips - I scoured your website in 2008 or so, and learned so much about how to practice and approach developing my skills. The quarter technique, the stories about practicing with loops of yourself - all were vital for me as I didn't have access to lessons or anyone to practice with most days. Thanks again!
This is composer Eugene Anderson from Arizona. I just got Tuba Concerto No 2 and No 3 published at Cimarron Music. Do you know of my 80 works or my Sam Pilafian cd ?
Hello Oystein, I am tuba player, playing in our church brass band. I am struggling how to play a chords or how to play an improvisation around the melody by using chords. Recently I found this video th-cam.com/video/moXMyKRyLwQ/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TocataEstiloPrimitivosPav%C3%A3oBonito and I am really like that style of playing. Would you be able to help me to figure out how to play like these guys (tuba part), or what is the basics of this style? Thank you.

Had great fun listening to webinar. Took notes and will apply much of technique to help with contrabass flute.
