Hundred percent agree I could not believe this was not from a video game. Like you can not expect to hit anything with a pistol hanging out of a moving video. I can see 10000 lawsuits, injured bystanders, etc.
I would imagine that a lot of game developers are from California. So perhaps the game developers are only exaggerating from the perspective of people that live outside of nutville.
I think it’s ridiculous. They just shoot in any direction with regards for any background! Id suspend some. Do they always have to empty the clip . This is embarrassing and i would fire the captain! Id suspend every officer that fired their weapon. FIRE AND RETRAIN!! This is police work. Smh
This is why I recommend this channel to all of my friends, being trained in marksmanship and firearms in general is great, but there are so many other things to consider if you ever need to draw your firearm. And this is a perfect example of how fast things can go sideways.
Yes sir! This is why even while bird hunting, I won’t fire at anything lower than twice a man’s height, as that’s about what a proper hunting dog can jump.

Yeah...I thought for sure that I was going to hear that rounds went into a house in the background striking some poor, unsuspecting soul. These cops are VERY lucky in that regard.
Please make a big lesson with this video! This is one I would love for you and Mike to break down in an EXTRA long video since there are SO many lessons to be learned! Love your channel and have learned a lot! Thank you!
Bad shooting. He was down range in the circular firing squad, the safest place to be apparently. There are competitive shooters who can fire a 16 round magazine in a few seconds with accuracy, none of these cops are in that league. Had one cop paused for about 4 or 5 seconds to actually use the sights he could have made a decisive hit, a fight stopping hit.

John, your videos are on point and I can’t thank you enough. The info and break down you give on each of them is beyond helpful. You help more people than you know to cover their ASP
Agree💯. Unfortunately, there's another video out there from OKC Pd on how not to clear a house. The perp was hiding inside a storage bin or something but the clearing was so poorly executed that he could have been behind a door and got the drop on the officers. There seems to be very poor training of officers in a lot of parts of this country.
Both of your guys' assessment of this incident was spot on. Thanks for doing such a great job with this one. This was definitely one of the worse examples of police conduct during which otherwise would have been a judicious reason for deadly force. Instead it almost became a deadly farce.
I would love for a breakdown of New Mexico State Police Officer Darian Jarret, he was sadly murdered by a known dangerous suspect while on a traffic stop. From what i know his death could’ve been prevented from better planning and more communication between the local departments in the area and Homeland Security. You guys are the best and I think this breakdown is a must for your channel.
I wish I could tell you where to find it but I have seen an excellent review of that entire incident. It began with the DEA meeting with the killer the previous night setting up a drug buy to Jarrets Sergeant asking him to make the traffic stop but never informing Jarret that the killer was very dangerous. Then all those pretty SUV that roared by the shooting were DEA who had only been a quarter mile back.

lol in the real world it's actually really hard to hit people. that's why you have 1000's of rounds flying towaRDS people in chicago daily but only a few die daily on average lol
it's not like the movies where you kill one person per bullet or per magazine lol. It just takes forever to hit and kill people man. Like think of all the ak-47s going on into crowds in the middle east. Surprisingly most of them don't hit anyone. we're used to executions and school shootings and cops shooting people up close so you think it's easy to shoot people. IT's not. executions and cops and school shooters ect. They get UP Close. Think of the last shooting in texas. Straight up children were getting shot almost point blank there is a reason why their arms detached from some of the bodies. The dude was too close pumping multiple rounds into tiny kids. SO it's deadly as hell. With handguns it's like a joke. lol.
Every single person in the area wasn't hit? The probability of every single person getting hit is infinitesimal. In fact, it might be impossible, depending on how many people were in the area (if there's a thousand people, it's impossible for all of them to get hit by 200 handgun rounds, even if they all lined up in rows of five). What's amazing is that nobody other than the perp and a couple officers got hit.
So much crossfire! If anybody in my platoon had shot in my direction like that, I would have kicked their ass when we got back to base. I know it was a high stress situation but damn
I really respect you guys. Some of these channels back the thin blue line no matter what. Nice to see some LEOs giving constructive criticism and telling it like it is. Im sure that's not popular with some of your colleages.
It's amazing to me that after certainly dozens of rounds and possibly over one hundred that no civilians were struck by the hail of bullets flying around in this crowded city. Given the number of shots fired and the apparent disregard for what might be downrange beyond the intended target, it's amazing that more officers (and a few civilians) were not harmed.
I have never seen a police department with this level of disregard for their surroundings. Whether it be fellow officers or the community, these officers were more dangerous to those around them than the criminal.

Firstly, hearing John call it a shitshow was ultra gratifying because that's precisely what it is. All this for a simple expired registration? She already had his driver's license and info, so a pursuit was absolutely unnecessary. Good to see Mike back and on the mend.
Thank You so much for giving it to this police department they deserve everything you pointed out. They all need to get fired and the higher ups that remain to be re- trained. This was a absolute circus and absolute debacle of police training and the badge. There's a bunch of lone rangers at that department and someone is going to get hurt and killed in that department. The mayor needs to get involved and do whatever takes to restructure that whole police department. Great stuff as always John.
If they do, then they wont have any cops left. People don't want to be cops anymore thanks to shit like acab etc. the only people who really do are people that want to abuse the power or have no other options..
Wait wait wait ... Hmmm .. Mike is WAYYY too tan and well rested looking to have been "sick" and I'm pretty sure that I saw him skiing up here at Lake Tahoe this last weekend lol
i am from germany and the first time ive ever saw someone shoot through their window was from hollywood movies and i was like, how unrealistic untill i saw an actual video of american officers doing it
well alot of american grow up with hollywood movies and often times they try to remake what they saw, from street racing to jumping of an building, crazy stuff
That firing circle at the end, holy crossfire boys, what the **** were you doing?!?! Hoping your shots would collide and make little explosions inside the vehicle??
A kind of normalcy bias, you tuck your intuition away behind the idea that things are going to work out fine despite all the evidence that is telling you otherwise. not uncommon, but a pretty bad trait for a cop in my opinion.
Holy crap! In my years of Military and marksmanship training there was always a mentality of "One Shot, One Kill". I guess the Buffalo PD trains to disregard public safety and empty every magazine you have into the "direction" of the criminal and sooner or later you might get them along with members of your team and the community. But that's just collateral damage.
Thank you for your comments. I hope police officers everywhere get proper training and follow that training in each situation. That training may save their own lives and the lives of others.
200 shots fired by officers and the perp gets hit twice. It's a miracle that no civilians were shot during this Chase.

That's the most Buffalo thing I've ever seen, my good god!
You guys are really Awesome and Mike is such a great co host to this channel. Thank you
The day Buffalo PD used ALL the bullets.
holy crap john.. that was the most suspenseful video i've seen in a long time. i love your content
this - in a densely populated area... that is the definition of wreckless endangerment
I’ve been waiting for you to do this one. I was working across town when this happened, insanity is an understatement to describe that day.
Even with the video, I can't even imagine.
i think they're heroes; that place = ghetto dump
Or living in one of the residences with cop bullets flying everywhere. What a scary thought. Prayers go to everyone affected….
Wait wait wait ... Hmmm ..
Mike is WAYYY too tan and well rested looking to have been "sick"
and I'm pretty sure that I saw him skiing up here at Lake Tahoe this last weekend lol
😂😂
How tf did they only hit him twice? 🤦♂️
Right?! It's stupid crazy
Handguns suck. Very inaccurate even for the highly trained. Can’t believe no one had a rifle.
@@AlexxxPerales Most of those shots toward the end should have been easy hits. Handgun or not.
Looks like it had bullet proof windows
Yeah those standard 9mm’s are pretty weak
It’s actually a miracle that no innocent bystanders or people in their homes etc were injured or killed !!
i am from germany and the first time ive ever saw someone shoot through their window was from hollywood movies and i was like, how unrealistic untill i saw an actual video of american officers doing it
yeah it happens here and its 90% of the time not a good tactic. its just a good way to end up hitting someone you dont need to
well alot of american grow up with hollywood movies and often times they try to remake what they saw, from street racing to jumping of an building, crazy stuff
@@dercorta-noyokamiboyteenpr2166 Look Mom, I'm superman...........................SPLAT!!
@@dercorta-noyokamiboyteenpr2166
thats probably also a factor, yeah
In Houston it's a firable offense.
200 shots 2-4 hits. Speaks for itself
I can't believe that there aren't more than 3 shot cops and civilians with the amount of cross fire and firing from moving vehicles. Holy crap.
This should be a marketing video for the perp’s vehicle manufacturer. His SUV was stopping those bullets as if it were the the President’s Beast.
This is was a complete and pure display of storm trooper marksmanship
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!! Always keeping it real. No biased opinions, just great break downs and informative conversations.
Glad to see Mike is feeling better!
😀
That firing circle at the end, holy crossfire boys, what the **** were you doing?!?! Hoping your shots would collide and make little explosions inside the vehicle??
Rip to anyone in the houses behind the car at 10:20.
"You are responsible for every round that you fire."
Let's keep Mike far away from public restrooms for a while please, the video isn't the same without him
BAHAHAHAHA!
@@ActiveSelfProtection in English we add one more "HA!"
@@MiccaThompson this guy gets it
If she knew that was coming why did she walk behind his car!!!
A kind of normalcy bias, you tuck your intuition away behind the idea that things are going to work out fine despite all the evidence that is telling you otherwise. not uncommon, but a pretty bad trait for a cop in my opinion.
I was screaming at the television 😂
Hey Hey Mike!!!!!! Hope you are in good shape ... it's nice to see you again. Thanks again ASP for all the hard work making these informative vids!
Accuracy through volume. 😂
Ridiculous
Sho'nuff
Thank you for your comments. I hope police officers everywhere get proper training and follow that training in each situation. That training may save their own lives and the lives of others.
The crossfire in this video is terrifying!!!
Protecting and serving the crap out of the area , these men and affirmative action hires are sure great
Mike mike! Glad to see you looking better!
😀
I feel so sorry for the owners of the cars that were hit😢
