Hey! So when u play fortnite, please off shadows because no one uses them, and it uses up about 80 or so frames for no reason. Also try competitive mode, this is any pixels, but the settings are textures and view distance epic. Thanks, this will help a lot of people looking for the fortnite benchmarks
Was checking that BarraCuda 510 to buy. 3400MB read 300 write good price! FireCuda tho...comes with 3yrs Data Recovery for extra coin. Torn. Build is decent. White just works!
I think once the 3070 is available builds will be much more optimized. With the $200 saved from going with the 3070 (Which is still faster than the 2080ti in games), you can get a Ryzen 5 5600X, Upgrade the cooler, Upgrade to 32gb ram, more storage, etc.
I love ur vids man, but I just can’t agree with this build. You could’ve gotten so much better options like upgrading the cpu and not getting an rgb power supply, or getting 32 gbs of 3000 speed for the same price as urs, and use a more reliable case than that one cause its rackin a whopping 1 star! Wow! lol

3600x plus light overclocking will get you to a stable OC to like 4.2ghz easily. (U can just use like msi game boost even) Tested with a 2080ti at 4K and I’m only using like 30-40% of cpu while maxing out my gpu lol
Not gonna lie - I like the BeQuiet performance, but HATE their mounting system. I have the Dark Rock 4 in my wife's build (R5 3600X) and the Noctua NH-U12S in mine (also R5 3600X) because the Noctua was out of stock when we built hers. Definitely had a couple of issues with the cooler sliding around before I could get it screwed down. The Noctua was way easier, and my CPU actual runs 4-5C cooler than hers.
Top quality as always - I was wondering if there's a certain component on the build that deserves a bit of an upgrade if I'm willing to spend more money? Considering the build is cheap already

I recently built a PC RTX 3080-ready: mobo Asus TUF Z490, i9 10900 (non-k), 32gb (4x8gb) Crucial Ballistix 3000mhz and a CX750 (750w Corsair PSU). I wanted to purchase a 3080 Asus TUF, but Asus seems to be the only brand to recommend a 850w PSU for it. Will my 750w PSU be enough? Or should I buy from another maker, such as EVGA?
I have my 2nd pc all done except the 3080 I’m online refreshing stores 23 hours a day for lol. Having fun with this build, using the noctua dh15 black to air cool my 10700k instead of liquid. Used the lian li 215 case (forget the exact name) but the 2 x 200mm fans up front really intrigued me and perfect for my air cooled build. I’m considering a vertical mount to make the 3080 the focus of the build since I’m not really big on rgb but without the card I can’t test temps vertical mounting a firebox with a tempered glass case lol. What are your thoughts on a vertical mount? Any industry tricks to manage the temps?
Vertical mounts are great, just make sure there enough room between the card and side panel, and compensate with extra intake fans if you need to and you’ll be fine!

The 3600X has a much higher boost clock speed and a 35W higher TDP - so it is a faster chip out of the box! :)

Why would you go for RGB 3200 mhz ram when you could get non rgb 3600 mhz which greatly benifits the Ryzen processor?
