    Nice deep sound. Hoping they have a full exhaust. Like a larger diameter header as well a cat delete. No need for emissions where i live. Can plate a twostroke dirt bike, literally even a riding lawn mower can be plated and ridden on the streets here just north or Seattle, WA.

    A big weight saving, interesting to see the length of the pipe when the silencer is removed, I would like a raised exhaust similar to the HP Corse version for the Tenere, looks like the pipe would need cutting. Thanks for all the interesting videos as I wait for MT.

    Perhaps im just an old fart. I quite like the stock exhaust muffler & stock sound. But, it does sound fruiter!
    Swapping out the muffler, has it affected the low speed fueling & throttle grip position? Is it popping like crazy on the overrun?
    Since you're an engineering chap, could you lengthen the bracket to move the clamp midway over the can to give it a balanced support?
    Also, if you have those facilities, maybe create a new hanger to incorporate the pannier racks & do away with the pillion footpegs all together?
    You'd need shorter hex cap screws, but doable.
    Otherwise, you have got some cracking scenic roads there!
    Cheers!

    Hello, very good video...congratulations!
    I have a few questions for you and maybe your answers will clarify the picture.
    Did you change only the muffler without removing the catalytic converter ?
    2. When changing the exhaust pipe is it not necessary to do a remapping for the mixture to work properly ?
    3. Did you feel an improvement in power or just a better sound?
    P.S.: You never thought of removing the catalytic converter that in my opinion makes the bike does not deliver all its power and this due to the issue of emissions regulations?
    I feel that the bike comes from the factory as a watered down bike that is to say as restricted and I would think that it is because of the catalytic converter ....

    • @hein3g
      @hein3g  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AVS-mt5dh Thank you for watching.
      I only changed the muffler(silencer) as changing the header pipes removing the catalytic converter will affect the warranty. I will do a full system exhaust as soon as the motorcycle is out of warranty. Being a new motorcycle to the marked I wanted to keep my warranty unaffected incase something goes wrong mechanically.
      I did notice a bit of a power bump but saying that I did a high flow airfilter together with the muffler(silencer). You will benefit if you can get the ecu remapped with the supporting mods especially if you take what the tuners get out of this bike without doing any hardware upgrades. But no,you don't have to remap if you did those mods. Even if you remove the catalytic converter you will not trigger the engine light as there is only an upstream O² sensor on each cylinder. Yes you are correct with catalytic converter restricting airflow, will be better if you remove it. But do remember, it is still only a 450 cc😄.
      Thank you once again and enjoy the channel😊😄

    • @AVS-mt5dh
      @AVS-mt5dh หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@hein3g excellent, then I understand that if I remove the catalytic converter it is NOT necessary to do a remapping and that the bike will not bring problems in the future as premature wear of parts or pulls or backfires?

    I'm really considering this exhaust, not so much for the sound, but because the pipe seems to provide more space for my luggage system (Siskiyou Panniers from Giant Loop). Since I'm not a fan of louder pipes, I was wondering if you could estimate whether this one is significantly louder than the stock exhaust. I understand it has a deeper sound (which is fine!), but I don't want it to be much louder than stock.
    I have another question regarding the brackets. Do you think they are of good quality? Would they survive a (small) drop, such as if the bike were to fall over at walking speed? And the bags.. would do you think of that quality?
    Lastly, I'd like to ask your opinion on the 'water inside the subframe' issue. You seem to have more experience as a metal worker (whether professionally or as a hobby, I'm not sure), so what would you suggest as the best solution? If you're unfamiliar with the issue, please see this video: th-cam.com/video/Y4yhW_vU9yo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FD1_umm_uvNNZ7xw.
    Once again thank you for the very clear video's!

    • @hein3g
      @hein3g  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@cowsnorff Thank you for watching. In my opinion if you don't want it to be louder ,this would probably not be the best exhaust to go for. It does become a bit much on the longer trips.
      The brackets do feel quite solid for the thickness,but have to remember it is only aluminium. I personally have not dripped my bike yet with the panniers on,so I can't give you solid feedback on your question.
      On the frame side of things... I have noticed a couple of videos pop up from this issue. I don't see it being a too serious issue if done something about it when still early. If you already have some water in there recently, I would remove the bars and keep them upside down until dry. Ad a bit of silicone inside the hole and fit them back on the bike. Some guys I noticed drill a small hole which I personally wouldn't do as I would cross many rivers alloweing water to enter again. So yes,I recommend just keeping water out😄.
      Once again thank you for watching and I will upload some more videos in the near future.
      Time is just not on my side at the moment 😄,but I have not forgotten about my audience 🙏🏼.
