Epic adv. mate. Are you running stock tires?
@@sajjarc Thank you for watching... Yes, still on stock tyres I just lowered the pressures when doing some more serious terrain. But still, they are pretty useless😄. They are nearly done, so will get some proper Mitas shoes to go on.😁
Awesome scenery....!
Absolutely incredible scenery beautiful NZ! The MT is looking a bit sore & sorry. This a fantastic adventure that will never be forgotten! Brilliant
@@stevesanelli90 Thanks for watching... Yes,she got a couple of new marks... But if it weren't for the crash bars,the damage would've been much worse. The almighty MT handled it pretty well.
Any idea what those little plugs are called (at about 2.20) where you push in the center then pull them out? Mine popped but was still stuck so I pushed a little more and the bike ate it.
Thank you for watching. I would just refer to them as a type of panel clip🤷🏼♂️. You have to press gently on the centre pin until you hear a click ,then you can remove it from the hole. The centre pin stays inside of the clip. If you press the centre pin too hard it will fall out through. That centre-pin needs to protrude past the washer/face when you install it again then you press the centre until flush. This will expand the legs behind the hole and so holding it in place. I hope any of this makes sense😂🤦🏼♂️.
Geeze that's a gorgeous part of the world !!! Stunning.
I'm an Aussie but my wife's a Kiwi, I've been to the North Island more than a dozen times.. I've always wanted to do a bike tour of NZ. I have friends that have recently moved to Invercargill and I've flown out of Wellington a few times and always admired the beauty of the Northern part of the South Island, so I think it's time to fly a bike to NZ and do a trip, this vid series may have tipped me over the edge..! 😉 Subbed..
@@MickH60 Ahhh, cheers mate! I was stunned by the beauty of the South Island,and you'll see over these 6 videos that I only saw a tiny bit of what the south has to offer. I'm definitely going back for the rest! Got some great drone shots trough out this trip... absolutely mind blowing scenery. Currently working on video of day 3, so stay tuned😊.
@@hein3g I'm in for the ride !
Nice video👌❤
@@anithamapraveen4139 Thanks for watching mate. Stay tuned for more...
Hello, very good video...congratulations! I have a few questions for you and maybe your answers will clarify the picture. Did you change only the muffler without removing the catalytic converter ? 2. When changing the exhaust pipe is it not necessary to do a remapping for the mixture to work properly ? 3. Did you feel an improvement in power or just a better sound? P.S.: You never thought of removing the catalytic converter that in my opinion makes the bike does not deliver all its power and this due to the issue of emissions regulations? I feel that the bike comes from the factory as a watered down bike that is to say as restricted and I would think that it is because of the catalytic converter ....
@@AVS-mt5dh Thank you for watching. I only changed the muffler(silencer) as changing the header pipes removing the catalytic converter will affect the warranty. I will do a full system exhaust as soon as the motorcycle is out of warranty. Being a new motorcycle to the marked I wanted to keep my warranty unaffected incase something goes wrong mechanically. I did notice a bit of a power bump but saying that I did a high flow airfilter together with the muffler(silencer). You will benefit if you can get the ecu remapped with the supporting mods especially if you take what the tuners get out of this bike without doing any hardware upgrades. But no,you don't have to remap if you did those mods. Even if you remove the catalytic converter you will not trigger the engine light as there is only an upstream O² sensor on each cylinder. Yes you are correct with catalytic converter restricting airflow, will be better if you remove it. But do remember, it is still only a 450 cc😄. Thank you once again and enjoy the channel😊😄
@@hein3g excellent, then I understand that if I remove the catalytic converter it is NOT necessary to do a remapping and that the bike will not bring problems in the future as premature wear of parts or pulls or backfires?
Thanks for sharing What's the torque settings please;
@@tasosan Thanks for watching mate. I point to the torque setting in the video which was 8nm.😊
@hein3g sorry,didnt see,old man here 😅

turn the music off
You know, I watched the video and virtually didn't even notice the music, I was admiring the beautiful scenery, watching how well the bike handled the conditions, it needs better tyres for that terrain and thinking about doing something similar myself. I would like a little more banter between the riders , that's about it...
the music wrecked it,
@@666dualsport Thank you for watching. Sorry about that, Which part?
Only for you...
Oh u gotta love the Cfmoto 450mt, and New Zealand🇳🇿🇦🇺👍💯u must have come down hard yeah?
@@seawench555 Thanks for watching. Actually didn't come down too hard but was down a bank. So just enough for the windscreen to catch on the dense grass... Ha ha... Stupid fall😄. And the 450MT is handling the terrain like a champ 🏆 Stay tuned as there will me more falls in the videos to come🤣
Another great installment of this incredible adventure! This one was very challenging. I watched before it got taken down. Hope you survived & no damage? Cheers
@@stevesanelli90 Thanks for watching Steve... My computer is struggling with large editing 🤣 so lost audio halfway through and only saw after it was posted. So I had to go back to the drawing board 😄🤣. Minor damage to the bike. But bark busters and the top crash bars I would say is a must if this is your type of riding. The crash where I broke the screen, if it wasn't for the bars there would've been way more damage.
Fantástica ruta 👌💪 a full cf moto unas ruedas de tacos irias mas seguro 😊
Hi mate and thank you for watching... Yes, I'm desperate for a better tyres😄. Will get the Mitas enduro trail xt+ when these are worn. And will go to a 140/80 in the rear...that little extra ground clearance will also help a bit. I'm working on figuring out how to change my subtitles for my spanish audience. Still can't seem to ad another language🤔.
Hi! It was a great video! I've seen that you have installed the crash bars on your bike, where did you buy them? Will there be a tutorial on how to install them on the bike?
@@bolting2519 Thank you for watching. I could do a video if you would like, I'll see what I can do😄.
What a ripper adventure! Some incredible scenery & such a beautiful country NZ is! How did you go with the fantastic 450MT?
@@stevesanelli90 Thanks for watching mate. She goes really well in terms of capability. A little bit on the heavy side,but I think I would do much better with the right tyres... These are just terrible 🤣. And the CF has great fuel consumption which helps in these long isolated trips. Was averaging better consumption than the KLX400 being a smaller displacement.
fuck the music off
👌👌👍👆
I love this bike, the sound is pure porn... nice video, hope for more :)
Thanks for watching mate. Ha ha, she does sound good... Not going toe lie😄. Just uploaded more porn for you(day 2). Enjoy!
What a great ride! I love the South Island, so many good roads and tracks all over the place, thanks for sharing the trip! Is that the stock exhaust on the MT? It sounds mean!

how did you connect the license plate light cables, what color did you connect with black and what color did you connect with red, because they don't match those of the motorbike

Excellent videos, thanks for taking the time and thanks for the links and description, you're the best. A question about these engine protectors Do you feel that they retain moisture when you wash the motorcycle or in the rain? Do you think water leaks or accumulates inside?
I am going to purchase this exact setup as it sounds and looks amazing but can I ask why you used the first adapter sleeve from 41.7mm to 44.9mm when there is a connecting sleeve available from AliExpress that goes from 42mm to 51mm?
Thank you for watching. I ordered all parts before the MT's arrived in NZ... So I measured the pipe diameter of the 450 SR and ordered the adapter according to that. So they ended not being the same🤦🏼♂️😄. But being quite creative I always make things work, reason I had to make some adjustments😁. Stay tuned and see the videos to follow.

Gday mate, thanks for the video...how did your panniers work out in the end ?
@@150_ADVenture Thank you for watching. I find them very handy and so far they get the job done. A bit of a hassle to mount but putting all my luggage inside a pillow case each side, makes it easy to remove.
@hein3g cheers for that.
H, the spacer are not reverse?
@@paololonzi Hi mate and thank you for watching. Yes, in the video I installed them incorrectly, but corrected afterwards. As the mating surface on the subframe has a small contact surface,which is why I thought the narrow side should face inwards
Great video! Helped a lot! Thanks!
Reallly good video my friend
Hey, very nice setup. I’m interested in the same thing. Could you tell me the dimensions of the pannier racks on Ali espress? I’m interested in the 48-liter Rhino ones. I want to see if they are compatible or if they are too large. Have you thought about whether you could do without the straps over the top of the seat and place them under the seat, or maybe modify them and attach them to the screws of the pannier racks? I’m very interested in your opinion. Best regards and thanks a lot.
Solid! The left mount says "TM"
