    Love the bowl, personally, I liked it better when it had the broken, natural edges to it, it's too bad that you sanded them off, it added so much character! Don't misunderstand, I love the bowl, I just thought it looked better before you got rid of the natural form, and you did such a good job turning such an odd shape. Keep up the great work!

    • @GuilTheBeardedWoodworker
      @GuilTheBeardedWoodworker  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you I was going to keep the natural edges to but by the time it came to sanding they where so thin and weak. Anyway thank you

    Hi what advice would you give to someone who dabbels in turning when his disabilitys let him to turn a smooth bowl as that seems my mane issues. I sand and sand but must be doing something wrong as the end like grain still won't get smooth. Hope you know what I mean

    It’s really distracting when you stop after every pass and look at it. Ruins the continuity of the video.

    • @GuilTheBeardedWoodworker
      @GuilTheBeardedWoodworker  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but an iregular piece has to be checked frequently so you can see where to cut next or where the tare out is or weather you're going to get a crack that will send the piece flying a cross the room.
