This is what some people mean when it comes to "defund the police." The police are clearly doing a terrible job with sexual assault cases. Public money that goes to the police could possibly be used better elsewhere to help these survivors get justice.
Glad she spoke out and got her day in court.
I don't like how this news story seems to blame victims mitotic times for not speaking out. Many times it's too traumatic or they haven't processed what happened until much later.

Less police available to deal with crimes and criminals means more are going to happen and get away with it...
How you can't see that simple cause and effect is wild. No wonder California is a crime ridden sh*thole.
