Everyone has to understand a record company is only a bank for Artist and Producers and nothing more they essentially give you a loan and then they take all of your money from your sales and then when it's paid they continue to take from you and you would only make money out of shows if your a artist and selling and licensing beats if your a music producer and inhave worked for EMI music publishing and I have also met with the CEO who owns the rights to Alliyah's back catalogue of music course and we met with people from all sectors of the music industry and a couple of people from the course ended up being famous and from what I got told by this CEO is you have to convince them that you can make them money and its in their best interest to sign you and we also got learned about points and splits and everything so with so with the knowledge I set up my own record label for my own music releases
