Ohio Judge Forced to Resign for Being Out of Order in His Own Courtroom

  • An Ohio magistrate has resigned after storming out of his Cincinnati courtroom and chasing down a woman, grabbing her shoulder. The magistrate was presiding over a trial when he heard a commotion coming from the hallway. It was the woman, and she was allegedly screaming at the top of her lungs because she had been told she was 30 minutes late to file court papers. Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Michael Bachman walked out of his courtroom to see what was going on. #InsideEdition

    This same judge also not denied her previous protective order, but sentenced her to jail when she frustratedly slammed her fist down. Imagine coming back to court for a second go to get protection from domestic abuse to not only get denied a second time, but the first judge that denied you and sent you to jail, does it again... that’s abuse from a second man that you’re not in a relationship with. You’d lose faith in the system. And usually the second restraining order fails, then comes you being murdered by a boyfriend, ex, or husband. This is horrible.

    She was probably so distraught too. I literally have to go to court for an ex landlord asking for money when he evicted me when my rent was paid up. Not to mention he stole 2500 dollars from me and whenever I think of the case I get anxiety and have meltdowns where I'm crying. Literally the judge be acting like when I speak of this he aggravated. How? 😭 No one did anything the police or government yet I have to be in court and still defend myself. Not to mention I can't afford a lawyer. Smh just typing this brought tears to my eyes. Just feel like people be going through alot already in court why this extra stuff..

    I want to know why a Deputy didn't stop her and issue her a citation for disorderly conduct or interfering with court proceedings. Even if they would have just intervened and had her go outside and calm down, none of that would have happened. Judge was wrong, but so was the entire court house detail for letting it continue enough to get to that point.

      Did you not watch the video. The judge was doing everyone's job. The deputy was probably confused so he grabbed a mop because he thought it was a day where people switched roles.

      She was out of ordee in the hallway. It took several deputies to handle her. And the one probably tried but you see how many it took to get her while she was fighting? Yeah the judge was out order and should sent the other deputies to see what the commotion was about.

    • @mbc264
      @mbc264 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @Holly Gonzalez but that wasn't at issue. The issue was the judge leaving the bench and THEN putting his hands on her like that. People causing hell in court will get handled....the judge needs to do his actual job.
