I've watched so many covers of this song and nobody has ever gotten the "2:02 part" right. Even Ann Wilson can't always duplicate it live at times but on the studio version those 5 seconds always give me chills. You sir gave me chills, well fucking done.

But yeah, on that "scream" you have to lose your control and let go and just let it kind of flow out. AND you need to learn the actual notes in there and they come rather quickly so it's not an easy thing to replicate. Thanks for noticing! Makes me feel oh.... like someone noticed I did a good job and they "get it". :)

thx. My natural range is lower. I gave myself a higher range, so to speak, by pitch shifting my vocal track up NINE semitones after I sang this NINE semitones lower. I sang it in MY key, then shifted it up and used my knowledge of audio etc to make it sound like it wasn't pitched up. ty!

@@guidodemets5792 hmmm I would say find a software that lets you record directly from your sound card or sound device and just copy the audio from this video and make your own mp3. There are also video downloaders that can d/l vids from youtube and then you could open that in some cheap or free video editor and render JUST the audio out as an mp3. I would try doing something like that because I don't have anything available to download and especially covers because these sites label you a criminal for doing covers (almost). At least you can look for a downloader for your browser if you use a browser and then see if it lets you d/l AS an mp3. Firefox browser has add-ons and there are several vid downloaders. try it!!! thx

lol! I think he's shown how he's using the digital pitch shift, reverb, etc. in other videos. Still, you need a steady enough voice, otherwise pitch shifting, auto-tune, it'll all turn into digital hash. :D

Currently, at age 45, I can still sing higher than people who hear my speaking voice can believe, but 12 yrs of cigarette smoking and 8 yrs of Naval service have made me long for my old tenor pipes! I am SO impressed that yours are going strong! Do you ever get into baritone range? If so, is your time spent in that range, more limited than it used to be?
