Gabbi Gun does it again with this top-shelf version of Heart's biggest hit. Prepare for goosebumps and hair-raising vocals that will leave no question that Gabbi, indeed, can take the greatest Rock vocals and make them her own, hands-down, and amazing.
This song is known as a Number One Hit by the band Heart in 1987. What many people do not know is that Heart's version of this song was a cover song. Alone had been released in 1983 by a group using the name I-Ten, and then released again in 1984 on the soundtrack of a CBS sitcom "Dreams" by Valerie Stevenson and John Stamos. But it was Heart's 1987 album "Bad Animals" that included the Ann Wilson vocals that shot this cover song to the top of the charts.
Ann's treatment of this song left no doubt in anyone's mind that she owned this song and that she was indeed a Rock Star of the highest caliber.

This is great, Gabbi sure made this song her own here with such powerful vocals. The issue is comparing it with Ann Wilson is we are so used to hearing Ann sing it, but I guess that goes for so many Covers.

One word: UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Gabbi is the complete package, she is strikingly beautiful with the voice of a Heavenly angel. Gabbi took one of the greatest ballads of all time and brought it to an entirely new level. She is so smooth and makes this level of performance look effortless. Idk how I stumbled upon Gabriela Guncikova but one random day I did and it was from a talent show where she sang this song. If you look up she sang this song on an “American idol” type show like 12 years ago. Huge difference. Ken, you taught her right. She listen to what you said , put in the work and went from a very good singer, to probably one of the best in the world.
I know you read these comments. I found this Indian band “Girish and the Chronicles “. You should do a review on them and maybe get them some looks. Sounds like they are straight out the 80s. The band is very talented but the singer is phenomenal.

Woo hoo! I saw "Heart - Alone" and Gabbi Gun in the same sentence and I couldn't click on the video thumbnail quick enough! Alone has always been one of the most challenging pop songs to sing, right up there with "I will always love you" Whitney Houston version. Ann Wilson really knocked it out of the park on this song and I knew Gabbi was going to give her a gun for her money...er, run for her money. Freudian slip? Fantastic job matching this song with this singer, a match made in heaven! Five stars and Moon on this one! I have to watch it again now.

I know she could sing my songs. I have like 20 of them . Been writing and playing since 78. I only have one on you tube. Paul Bruce. " No way" I wrote it. Arranged it. Played all the instruments... except keys. And sang it. Which I didn't want to do. I can't sing. But I think she could. That's all I wanted to do. Have someone with talent get it done their way. I knew it wasn't me.

WOW! Did she sing this song many years ago in a talent show? If it's the same girl she's come a long way. She was always good but this version is much better. Better phrasing, breath control, pitch control. I'm not being mean. She's an amazing talent but I think Ken also brings out the best in people.
