You should re-wrap your hood in carbon fiber! Since you have to do it anyways, it will match up with the scoop nicely.

get it ceramic coated i did my carbon hood and carbon trunk with adams polishes spray coating and its amazing soon to be carbon fenders too

I seen this video was posted a year ago how's the scoop holding up? I just ordered one for my 05 sti how's the finish holding up did you put clear coat on it to protect from sun damage?

You probably did go to deep, those screws would of been at a length that included the under side intercooler seal as well.
