Good teardown and clean-up, have you considered that the BIOS of on the mother board is not up-to-date? Most people when buying a laptop use it as it is and never update the BIOS. You can try that and then put the CPU inside.
Thank you bro :D actually the bios is latest, am always checking that before upgrade the hardware, that is standard procedure :D but there is a lot of laptops that theoretically support some upgrade but until you try you won't know, it will work or not
@@ComputersAndTechAndAndrew i upgraded a Samsung R510 not too long ago. The highest CPU that worked for me was a T9600. Maybe try one out if you have the chance, they go for around $10 on Aliexpress so not pricey at all.
This could be an option. But the motherboard does not support an FSB-Clock higher than 800 mHz. A Q9000 demands an FSB-Clock of 1066 mHz. I don't think that updating the BIOS raises the FSB-Clock of the Chipset. But who knows? Maybe it does work.
@@phoenixwright124 If the chipset itself doesn't support 1066, then there's no chance a 1066 FSB CPU would work even with a BIOS update. On a PC mobo, maybe. But on a laptop, no chance.
