Tuning Drop D
A fun track of the latest self titled album from Lamb of God. The trickiest part is the string skipping section in the pre chorus so take your time and focus on getting a solid picking pattern down for it.
This is also a great song to practise your tremolo picking on and building up endurance!
I've only gone round the intro riff twice rather than five times to keep the video a little shorter.

Bro, I was playing this song and it was pain In the ass to play the pre-chorus and the clean parts. I tried to stretch my hand all the way 5 fret damn. Man, there are many covers of this song but yours is most accurate I think. Any tips how to learn that fast riff that starts on 8th fret? I see you pick D string with up/down and then down on 3rd string?
It will just be a case of building the speed up over time. You could try practising the movement in that section by playing a down stroke on the on the A string, the a up and down on the low D string, so you have a pattern of D,U,D, D,U,D etc. Hope that makes sense!
